Sadly someone has written my cupra r off! Not my fault but insurance have written it off so I am now on the look out.

Looking for a cupra r not fussed about mileage as long a services history is good also wouldn't mind one a some mods or a fully modded 180t stage 2 prefer black or red if possible

I love this car.. I got some breaker coming from I collect her Monday for £1300 insurance only willing to pay the same amount out! Had 169k on the clock n well serviced! I am going to miss her dearly. I've £2500 to pick up another. So if there a anyone out there hit me up!

Another good one for the price.
Anything near mint is going on 4k.... before Xmas I see a cupra r in black mint, standard 80k on clock I think it was for £1600 I sh!t you not on gumtree. Had some issues...about £200 pound worth of issues lmao. Sold within 12hrs

Give is one a miss... Had the remote key issue before and they wanted £250 for that to be sorted at Seat! But it's nice just would seem like a down grade to what I've got/had before.

Only thing that puts me off Subaru is the weak engine's in the WRX, the weak gear box and the fact that anything engine related is easier with the engine out (labor cost) buy a Subaru of that age, make sure you have deep pockets.

Fully standard apart from a ram air filter i put on it (ramair had a amazing black friday deal i couldnt refuse)

125k on the clock with full service history ive recently had it serviced with genuine parts

Its in for mot next week

Rare blue
Full electric leather interior
Bluetooth sony stereo
Pollen filter housing and all doors resealed by me

Engine had cambelt and pump done at 91k its stated in the service history but no record i did take the cover off and you can see timing marks on it so it has been done

Appears to have been enthusiast owned as someone spent on on pilot sport 3 tyres all round so no scrimping appears to have occured

2 bad points
Key fob can be tempermental working with the buttons
Rear quarter has some paint blistering as apparent its been repainted (the match is spot on just guessing damp was present when repainted) its not categorised

4 prev owners which includes me , i had a mk2 forged leon cupra then a mk2 k1 rep fr on air ride , i bought this as a cheaper alternative as im saving for a mortgage but being honest i hardly use it as i have a 2015 focus st aswell.

Im looking for basically a cupra r stage 2 £2600 should be about on point shouldn't it for a mk1? Was in FB and posted something like 2600 to the first man to sell me their Stage 2 cupra r! You should have seen the nasty piss takin comments I got. They all live on cloud 9 thinking there front mounted intercooler 3inch remapped 15 year old cars are worth 4/5k! Some commented sayin it's my back payment on the doll. Lol I have 2jobs. Absolutely ridiculous.

£2600 does seem rather optimistic for a good cupra r. I had quick scan yesterday at mk1 cupra r's and most that looked decent seemed to be priced around the £4k mark

Any inspection encouraged youd be hard pushed to fault it mechanicaly

I've kinda found one but the clutch is high. Also had a engine change so the mileage isn't going to be correct but the guys a machanic. Hes knocked it down from 2600 to 2300 coz of the clutch. Does this seem a bad idea?

Potentially has an engine with an unknown service history, unknown mileage, and compared to the rest of the car you can't have any inclination as to how that engine has been looked after over the years. So I would say it's a big risk.

For the money you have I would be looking at a top condition cupra as opposed to a risky cupra r.
