Mine will probably still be full of water and doesn't have a passport for anything north of the Watford gap ;-)
We can get you driving in between 2 midlands cars you'll be fine then lol no one would ever know...

As for the water... isn't that part of the fun with a SEAT lol find that hole in the footwells haha

Realised the coolant leak isn't from the temp sender. Held my breath and checked the dip stick and oil filler cap... oil looks normal. Then after another glance around the engine I noticed loads of dried on coolant down the back on the manifold/exhaust so hopefully a loose/split pipe to replace.

Found the source of my coolant leak, the 4” hose that joins on the top of the engine block. Used a piece of silicon vac hose for now until I get a replacement.

Finished refurbishing and painting wing mirror covers.
Super smooth finish.

Just so you know, the blue banger is gone, not my property now and living in Wales somewhere. I now have a golf MK4 gttdi for a while, while I look for another cupra. All the parts I have for the 1.8t means I'm gonna be back soon but needed to get shot of the blue one because I basically ruined it by stripping it out and doing what I did. Next one will be different, weight reduction was a good thing but more Power is where the next one will go.
Anyway if I have any issues with it I'll ask on here because let's face it...I'm not a VW fanboy man lmfao. And yes the golf is standard as in as low as it can get sat on 18" TT wheels
A pic below for you to laugh at. And yes gttdi 115bhp so the crap engine from what I can work out. Weaker I believe

Well at least you had some fun on those private roads while I tsw stripped to the bones.
You did delete everything but the engine.
We all have to move on at some point.
I’m sure you’ll be back in a seat pretty soon.

Yes everything and cut a bit out as well. No crash bars ect ect. New owner knows all about it and wants to track it so good luck to him. Hopefully back in a cupra by Christmas if is nice.
