Oh well... Pictures delayed!
My dealer can't release the car because Seat HQ hasn't defined the price of the car yet. It could take a couple of weeks according to my local sales guy.
Nice job building a car worth 50.000 pounds (yes, that's the price in Denmark) and transporting it to the end user without knowing the sales price. Jesus F****** Christ!!!
Just lovely knowing that my new car is just waiting less than 2 miles from my home, but i can't have it... :banghead::banghead2

Woah!!!
Back up a bit...... £50,000:-o You know you can buy a Porsche Cayman for that price in the UK?

Email from CS received for the ST wk42 in UK spec...

Further to our telephone conversation, please find the answers to your enquiry below:

The flags on the Leon CUPRA will be on the:

  • Front grille (to the right of the logo as you look at the car front on)
  • Steering wheel lower panel gap
  • Gearstick (stick only, not on base plate)
The Winter Pack on this model is only available as part of the CUPRA Lux pack, the base CUPRA does not have the Winter Pack included.

With regards to whether the stitching on the inside of the cabin will be copper, this will remain white as it currently is on the CUPRA.

Again... I’m not saying this is 100% correct, in just saying this is from the factory this week for U.K. spec.. possible that specs vary by country, as with winter pack etc..
Sounds odd.

The DSG never had the badge on it. It was beside the stick on the base plate. Only the manual had a flag directly on top.

The the head of the DSG seems narrower. With a thin plastic strip running through the center. No place for a flag.

When I called they still hadn't officially received imagery (apart from images I forwarded)

Sounds unlikely that'd they redesign the gear stick for the UK Leon Cupra. Wouldn't really add much either.

But to be fair I didn't see the copper coming either

When do you expect to take delivery?

All

The insurance thing has really bothered me due to the frustration of trying to insure the 290 instead of a 300 and as a lease car

Well I’ve managed to sort it with Aviva, the car only showed up as a 300 but the underwriters over write that with the 2018 290 model

Im 43 full no claims with £150 excess i got it for £366.46

Happy days

I can’t believe (ok, I can..) that more than a week after the “technical data” on the ST 4Drive was released, the website still has tbc on the price list for all the info on the ST, and there are STILL no pictures available for either the 5door or the ST on the configurator for new customers...

I’m not disagreeing with you... I’ve just posted the email I received from the factory, via CS for the UK models.. I did specifically ask, based on the fact that the images of the German model didn’t have the badges, but they insist this is what we will receive..

Does ANYONE at Seat actually have a clue what they’re building at the moment?.?

Given that there appears to be a batch of Arona Xcellences with no power folding mirrors and a batch of Leon FR DSG's with no steering wheel paddles, possibly not.

Just submitted my order for a Magnetic Grey with All Vehicle Contracts Ltd, 1 + 23 with 8k miles @ £278.94 per month, now the waiting game begins...

At least I should definitely know what I'm getting with the copper badges, unlike the frankenCupras!

Did you have to ring up for that deal? Showing a different price on the website.
