I’ve ordered a 300 flag to add to mine, I’ll order the S badges too if they look horrible with the blue.

SEAT 100% have a CGI image of the car with full details and I’ve no idea why they won’t release it.

Didn't think it would carry 290 badge until I saw yesterday just expected the flag. TBH I think I would have preferred just the flag.

Looking forward to the copper now, have convinced myself it'll look good on mine. Only colour I'm not convinced with is Red.

They're not waiting for all these pre week 42 builds to be delivered first are they?

Doesn't really make sense as they're now taking orders again.

Just a quick question, maybe I'm just the slow foreign guy here, but are we 100% sure of the copper logo's on the BW42+ Cupras?

SEAT UK have officially announced it from week 42.

SEAT.NL have describe the new copper trim on their configurator.

Can't confidently speak for other markets.

They have announced it in internal memos that few seem to have read, but they haven’t done a release or anything anywhere, let alone U.K.... surely if they had the press would be all over it?

The BW42 on cars won’t have any rear flag at all

They have 100% reported it to the SEAT finance teams through the hub.
Who are now in the process of setting up finance/leasing on these new CUPRA'S (without the imagery or full details). They have been told to expect more info but haven't been given a timescale.

The details have been published online in the spec form for the Dutch.

There is obviously a huge disconnect between the factory and dealers/support/brand/admin teams.

The interesting thing here is that the changes have come from the "new brand" who helped develop the R's and developed the Cupra Ateca. The dealers seem to regard them separately.

Even though this is a SEAT Leon Cupra to me it sounds like the new brands interference may be causing the delays.

And yes I'd expect there to have been previews by now.

And interestingly, seat.nl have the 300 ST as a 7 speed and not sure if the version shown in bold is the one that
folks are seeing on their shipping docket (do not want to get anyone's hope up for 6sp or 7sp as the information is clearly flawed but... it is on a Seat owned website...)

Price list states - "DSG 2.0 TSI CUPRA 221kW/300pk DSG-7 5F868Z/19/CUP"

The delay on your build was that just your build or did they mention that things had been pushed back a week to 43?

As if it was just yours there should be some copper builds complete and ready for shipping.

Now this really is interesting (I think - apologies if it has been posted before) but Arval (a massive company part of Bank Paribas and no doubt a big buyer of Seat cars for onward leasing) have this advert and pictures but no copper inside that my old eyes can see (red calipers have gone though) https://www.arval.nl/nl/mkb-lease-auto/seat/leon-st-2019-5d-stationwagen/2-0-tsi-cupra-dsg-7-5d

I feel like Poirot trying to solve clues with lots of suspects but with no body! :help:

That looks like an Xcellence Lux and not a Cupra to me...

She only mentioned mine, but I’d hope that most are on time and only a few delayed..

Same week as mine...

Yay, 7 Speed confirmed!!! (all that effort working out the ratios wasn't for nothing!)

Now I just need to see what Magnetic Grey looks like on a Leon in murky/grey UK.
