Just had a call from CS they say my car is on the train on the way to port and it isn't likely to be on the Pegasus Ace

It might end up being over a month before I get the car, which was BW39 so I'm a little disappointed with that, especially with all you guys getting told you're on boats!

Also I asked for some matts and they don't come with them from factory they're a dealer fitted optional extra so they can't help.

Maybe I can blag a set from IMG

If you've ordered through IMG they probably take the set out that come free and sell them. Last I heard you get free mats from the factory.

Wouldn't believe anything seats call centre says lol. Honestly they'll be in the boot ready to be fitted when the garage gets the car valleted that's if you let them give it its first swirl marks.

I don't know what to do about that, If i do it myself I'll only swirl it up anyway

I’ve requested my dealer just take the transport blocks from the suspension and remove the white panel protection film/foam and carry out the pdi...and don’t bloody clean it at all!!!!
I’ll be driving it directly to my detailer mate for a new car protect with a self-healing ceramic coating.

I'll be telling them not to valet mine. I'll have a mobile valleter go in and give it "new car protection detail" then from then on I'll wash it myself 2 bucket method. Keeps the bodywork swirl free, basically no sponge and a clean rinsed wash mitt on the car.

That's right but press cars usually are available before hand to get reviews out. Although with the lack of organisation it wouldn't surprise me if the cars are on the road before the car press even know of the latest changes.
Trouble is I think they’re making it up as they go along. Possibly even picking parts from a box with one hand over their eyes... ever car will be totally random from now on. Lol

CS told me mine was on the train for over a week even tho it’s been at sea for a week!!

My CS guy said they can only see basic information regarding transit on their screen, so he had to contact dealership support ‘think that’s what the departments called’ who can pin point the location of the vehicle, vessels details etc.

It’s a shite system they have, can’t understand why there all can’t see the same information!

Will the matts have copper stitching??

If you don’t mine how much will that set you back?

I’ve just bought a load of car pro products from slims detailing ready and waiting for it’s first wash.

The fella I'm using charges £250 it's not cheap but it's gives the car a good start. He goes to the dealership and does it then all they have to do is PDI it.
