I paid €125 to have a resonator delete custom made and fitted so £100 for fitting alone of a pre made part is expensive. Just head onto Google and call every single exhaust shop around you and see who is cheapest.

FWIW, it’s about 30 minutes work. It took my local exhaust place a bit longer as they had lost their new exhaust cutters and it took them about 10 minutes to find them!

Anyone who tells you it’ll be a complex job is talking out of their arse..! If yours is anything like my Cupra 300, it’s one cut and one clamp to remove the original piece, and then 2 clamps to fit the res delete..!

Not sure if mine is much use but mine was a custom job from Powerflow, cost me £194 but that was the res delete and replacing the stock exhaust tips for quad tips

Would’ve preferred them a bit larger but due to the diffuser exhaust sections being made for the oval pipes these are the only ones that could fit it seems, also look a bit angular but that only seems to be on camera for whatever reason.

I think they look great. I’m tempted to get twin Akrapovic tips for mine but I don’t think my lease company would like me hacking the exhaust any more

Cheers, still think they should be quad tips as stock like the S3 or Golf R but of course SEAT and Skoda aren’t allowed the good stuff

I wanted those too but the price just couldn’t justify it, would’ve preferred a proper set of tips and I would also like my car to be even louder ‍♂️ and yeah let’s not talk about the lease until it finishes...

You can get a pair of twin Akrapovic tips to fit the Cupra for about £80 off Ali Express... They’ve even spelled Akrapovic right

They’re about as legit as a £20 pair of Nike Air Max

But they do look the part and someone else on here had some fitted to his Cupra ST

If you could get a Akrapovic exhaust system for a cupra it would probably cost about £2500 and that’s not including fitting. Are the the real thing...no. But the look bloody good..

Had the res delete on the car today. Sounds mint.
It is loud though at certain times and at cold start. Does it quieten down a bit over time when it carbons up a tad?

It’s definitely louder off a cold start, but mine takes less than a minute to settle. Mine isn’t much louder unless I floor it. The engine note is definitely different though - mine has much more of a throaty burble to it which I love..

Mine is louder off cold start. Only over 70 do you start to notice it on a dual carriageway. Like you said when u floor it its more noticeable. Sounds more like the car it should. I didnt want too be too loud to draw attention just enough to know it has a bit of power. Have too see how it sounds after the map.
