Hi, I’ve seen somewhere how to do this but can’t find it. How do you adjust the LED headlight angle? Some kind of screw under the bonnet if I remember rightly? Thanks!

Consensus is that its screw TWO that alters height... but mark where you start from, and itll be obvious once you start.

Just what I was looking for, thanks. Will have a go tonight.

Have also ordered myself an LED reversing bulb as I’m fed up of the tealight candle on the back of the car! So will fit that too.

Seriously?

LED reversing light is an essential mod. Actually even a glow worm in a jam jar would be an improvement on the standard item.

Meguiars Smooth Surface Clay Kit - Never tried to clay a car before but the Cupra deserves it.

AutoGlym Bumper and Trim Gel to bring all that exterior black trim back to its best.

AutoGlym Perfect Polish Applicator for the Bumper and Trim Gel.

Just need a good weather day off work and away we go.

Don't ruin the applicator on trim gel. Any cloth will be ok. You will need to apply polish and or wax after claying too.

Fitted the LED reverse bulb to my facelift Leon, now all my external lights are LED and I can actually see where I’m reversing! Such an easy mod too, open boot, slide off cover, twist bulb holder and replace.

I used my obdeleven tonight. Added purple and lime to my ambient lighting, so now I’ve 10 colours. Setup lock with ignition on so I can leave it running in winter to defrost. One click mirror folding, refuel quantity in dashboard, fan level display when in auto and put a W16W led bulb in the reverse light. I polished and waxed the car yesterday and scotchguarded the mats/carpets.

It’s been a productive couple of days since I collected the car and my wife loves it as I’m never indoors at the minute!

Lock with ignition? Unless you've got keyless entry how do you get back in?

I probably should have explained that one better. If you have the engine running you can’t normally lock the doors with the remote. With the coding you can do that so it allows me to leave the engine running and lock the doors then go back inside the house etc. I’ve keyless entry and start.

So like a total numpty I managed to lose my locking wheel nut today. Think I drove off with it still on the wheel nut and it’s fallen off on the road somewhere. To say I’m a little annoyed at myself would be an understatement.

I’ve tried bashing a 22mm socket over it with no joy.

Anyone got any other ideas as to how to get it off?

I used these guys https://www.lockingwheelnutkeys.co.uk/, next day delivery is very expensive but if you can wait not so bad.

I did ask my local seat garage and they wanted the car for a day and something like £60-00 but could not do if for a while because they were busy.

AA/RAC Can do it but from memory they charge you £20-00

There are tools you can buy at halfords but it the outer sleeve moves (to stop people doing what you did) then they aint no good.

Otherwise get your local independant who has good tools to fix it for you (that's what I did in the end)

Thanks, i'm loathed to spend money as I was taking the wheels off to put spacers on and therefore making the wheel nuts redundant. Already spent about £15 on big sockets and adaptors today :-(. Going to have to suck it up and find a local garage to do it.

It's not been a good day! but I did fit new boot struts today, they worked well thankfully :)
