Hi Guys, there will presumably a new PnP LM440 Upgrade charger within the next weeks. It is being tested in several cars at the moment. The aim: highest stability, extremely early torque boost and about 440 HP. It seems to have the same technology as its big brother LM500 designed for Cupra MKIII, Golf 7R MK 7 GTI, Octavia and Audi S3 S1 and TTS. We will see.

The new PnP LM440 got installed in the Cupra - providing 442 HP and 585 Torque. The crazy thing is: It is a modified (fully reinforced) IS20 charger - not an IS38). It seems it will survive anything defy any charge and boost pressure because of having the same stable technology as its big brother PnP LM500 Gen.2.

Assess if it is worth doing...

Avoid relying on the OEM IS38 stock CORE. It can break easily when tuning it. The original stock core is good without a tune but when tuning the OEM shaft/bearing/core/internals, etc. can break fast as experiences have shown.
Get a STABLE core like from LM (LM440, LM500) with a stable power internals.
