I can only get into eco mode through the individual setting and all it's does is display when to change gear

As you know, picked ours up today and I can get eco mode just by pressing the mode button by the heater controls.

Ours is DSG not manual

Yeah I opted for a cheaper manual for my current and my next car.

I have the choice between comfort, sport, Cupra and individual. In individual you can select eco for the engine. Think I read that it only gives you visual hints to get more economy.

How are you finding yours mate? Shame about the driving conditions.

enjoyed couple of handbrake turns / drifts while I still have a handbrake

FR handles nicely in the snow, but stability control kills the fun a bit too early
