Thanks for that, its much appreciated. I just wanted to be sure before I speak to SEAT/Dealer again.

Hi -New to this forum-looking to purchase a Seat Leon ST 1.4 ECOTSI.
However am being put off by the lead times-although my dealer is insistent that it is only 12 weeks.
Who do I believe-the above or dealer??
Basically is your info 'direct from the horses mouth' ?
Cheers Roy

The information I post on here is published each week by the Supply Manager at SEAT UK, and is available to (and applies to) the UK dealer network as a whole. They are likely lead times based on current order bank and production capacity, so could be shorter but could also be longer.

Whether you choose to believe it, or a dealership that has access to the same information yet seems to be ignoring it, is up to you...

That's all I need to know,many thanks.
Just confirms that they will always say the minimum just to obtain the sale then hit you with the more accurate news.
Appreciate your time.

Depends how much you want the car - I waited 5 months for my Golf but it was worth it.

Scrogg, sorry to message you on here but I wondered what you would do if the camera pack had been missed off of one of your customer orders? I now will need to get a camera privately fitted at additional cost (I guess almost double). My monthly payments have been adjusted to 'refund' the camera pack charge but now I am left with no camera. Appreciate your reply, cheers.

What is the difference between FR 18” PUK & PUM. I have ordered a 2.0 150 FR with 18” 30/3. Just hope it’s not the +12 weeks. Thanks

PUK are the 18" Machined. PUM are the new-style 18" Performance. You've ordered PUN (old-style 18" Performance) which are the only FR wheels not subject to additional delays.

Lying Dealers

Ordered my Leon ST FR in jan, got phoned about 3 weeks ago saying my build week is 1st of april.

Got a call from Motorbility today turns out the dealer is talking crap, my build weeks is 27 and will have to wait another 6 weeks after that for delivery

does it matter which dealership you order your cupra from? requested an offer on carwow and one of the rep told me this when I ask about lead times:

" unlike a dealership as we are part owned by SEAT we do get priority builds at the factory meaning the lead time could come forward but to avoid disappointment we still would say 20 weeks"

this offer was 1k more than the best, but if that's true i might just go with this to have it faster :help:

just FYI

I got priority build, ordered the cupra 5 weeks ago and it's going to be build next week :)
