Good news! When and what did you order? I can't see you in the spreadsheet.

1.4 125hp 3 Door (SC) FR with 18" alloys (30/1 i think they call them). Ordered 27 October with initial unconfirmed build week 9.

It is a lease order

Was that Raheel? I've got an email from Tara saying she's going to be my representative and keep me fully informed. I always dealt with Raheel before.

I was dealing with a guy called Robbie

Sounds like they have made some redundancies?!

Does anyone know why a car would have an estimated delivery date but no build week? Seems a bit odd to me but seat are trying to say it's normal? Had no help from customer services either

I thought that estimated delivery was just based on lead times based at the point of order and came from a weekly update sent to dealers by SEAT UK.

Just had an unconfirmed build week of Week 6 2018.
CUPRA 300
manual
Nevada White
Winter pack
Seat sound
Camera
Acc
Side blades
Ordered accepted mid November.

Just got off the phone with Seat customer services as my dealership told me my order had not been accepted. I called up to see if I could change to DSG since it's now the same price. Oh..well :)
Still looking at March/April delivery.

I like the 18", but I don't regret choosing the standard FR 17". I like the design - it's understated but still quite stylish and unusual with the holes in the spokes. And it saves a bit of money and should be a bit more comfortable than the 18". There are pros and cons to both, I don't think you can go too far wrong unless you particularly like or dislike one of the designs.

Yeah I agree. The 18s look fantastic though! Here’s a pic of the FR with 17s.

Did anyone find out anymore about the beats audio system replacing SEAT Sound System?

Raheel (SEAT complaints manager) phone me this week. VWFS are refusing to extend my finance to cover the few weeks between the new one arriving and my finance ending.

Emailed and called SEAT this week. The agents I spoke with were unable to confirm when the beats audio was going to be available on the Leon.

I wasn't aware it was set to replace it?

I noticed other countries configurators give you option of both, with beats being the more expensive option.

VWFS refusing on a PCP or PCH?

Ah okay. Perhaps an upgraded, upgrade then! I wasn’t aware it was set to replace, just going off what’s been said on here.

They’re refusing on PCP. Already been extended twice. Originally set to finish 30th October, now set to end 31st Jan.

Apparently it's a much better system than the SEAT sound too. I got excited when I saw it on the R - oh well.

Found out Alexa is only available with the Nav high too as it requires a WiFi connection in the car. Didn't realize the Nav high came with connectivity.

That's crap about the finance. Especially if you are staying with them as customer.

VWFS (SEAT finance) stated the following to me in writing.

1) They were able to offer a 3 month extension at my current rate.
2) Once they have confirmation of an order number they will extend the existing agreement until the car is delivered and the next agreement starts.

This was on a PCH though.

I still rate the SEAT system highly though. I have it in my current Leon.

To be honest, I’m not getting worked up about the extension right now. My dealer is pretty on the ball, I’m sure he’ll sort it out. He extended it for me until the end of Jan recently.

Depending on when/if I move house I may have to delay the car until March anyhow.

I may need to change my mileage from 10k to 18k, because the POTENTIAL (don’t want to curse myself!!) new house involves a much longer commute. I’m wondering how that’ll affect my monthly payments.. Currently £234pm with no deposit.

Finally we are picking up our Silver 1.8 FR Dsg on Friday 15th! Ordered on July 5th. Pick up at 10am then driving to New Forest in it for a week later that afternoon, so a nice 2 hour run to get things bed in nicely.

For the spreadsheet:-

FR / ST | 1.8TSi DSG | 18" | Leather, Sunroof, LED interior illumination pack, Space Saver | 6-Jul-17 | Confirmed Build Week 46

Collected this yesterday and got a decent drive home from the dealer.

Today, it is barely visible due to snow :(

For the spreadsheet, delivery was 6th December.

To be honest I've never really heard the Seat system. When I got the 280 the dealer told me that standard system was good enough (they were basically trying to shift the car)

Tbh it wasn't until I had the S3 that I realized the standard system was really lacking. I know it won't be as good as the B&O in the Audi, but hopefully it'll be a big step up. Was told the beats system was even more impressive but it was in an Ibiza.

House move and new car! You're living the dream mate :D

I'm looking to do the same thing next year. Had to also change my order from an SC to a 5 door as I found out I had another child on the way next year too.

2018 will be interesting :)

Good luck mate.

It’s not bad. No idea how our standards compare but I think it’s good. Only annoying thing is that it causes the door cards to rattle but I’m hoping that is a specific issue with the mk3. It was supposedly addressed on a recall but never seemed to go away.

Well HOPEFULLY a home move, don’t want to tempt fate.

Ah congratulation, sensible option for a 5dr I have the 3dr now and it would be a squeeze to get in the back to strap baby in.

Just got a fresh quote for 20,000 miles. £304pm!! Up from £234 .
