Disappointed to say the least

Just an update. Both SEAT and my dealership called/emailed me yesterday confirming that my car was at port in Newcastle awaiting transportation to the dealership. They said this can now take 7-10 days to arrive to the dealership. The finish line is in sight however, I am away on holiday for a week when the car is meant to arrive which is just my luck!

Cannot wait to get the car and I will be posting pictures when I finally have it after a long 5 months wait.

Finally the car arrived yesterday after a long 5 months wait. Sadly I wont be picking it up until next week as I am holiday which is just my luck but thankfully it has finally arrived. I honestly never thought the car would ever arrive. The sticker on the car says production date was 28/07/17 and it has taken this long to get here? Mental honestly.

My Cupra 290 took from 1st week of July until 1st week of November to arrive and that was long enough for me. Just be grateful you've not ordered a Ferrari 812 Superfast as delivery is anticipated to be in 2021 for those who are lucky enough to be on the order books!

It seems lead times are an issue at the minute.

Ordered my Cupra in early July, dealer estimated November delivery. Rang Seat for info.

Unconfirmed build week 11 of 2018. so on that basis expected delivery of mid-April. I think that would make it 38-40 week lead time

Sadly I didnt have enough time to take any from the rear since I was blocking the road in my car xD I really do hope you get yours on the date you've been told. To be honest a lot of my excitement has gone, its a weird feeling because delivery got put off 4 different times. However, next Friday when I go to pick it up I should feel better about finally getting my hands on it.
