Just ordered one of these using the xmas offer, went for the pro version with 200 credits so I can set everything how I want it when I get my Leon.

not everything you want to do will be available as an app, so some things won't cost you credits as you'll have to manually do them

Oh I know not everything is able to be done by the apps, but looking at their FB page most of it and the stuff that needs coding seems to be covered on plenty of websites. I've got friends and family that have VAG cars that want things setting as well (my parents have a 2014 Yeti, one of my brothers cars is a 2012 VW Caravelle, being replaced by a 2017 next year, friends with MK 7 Golfs, A3's etc), am looking forward to learning how to use it and having a car that I can change settings to my personal preferences, door mirrors fold on lock, the extra wipe when washing the windscreen (my Abarth 500 does that already!), Scandinavian DRL's (during the winter months at least) etc.

I too would like to know this, my DS4 does it and it makes the dash look much better to look at.

I find myself turning the headlights on all the time because it lights my dials up. I might have a play tonight and see if I can figure it out.

Looking at the guide I've got, the option to change this: LED lights intensity curve picture instruments 1 (Day)

You can give it a try, I wonder if you set the DRL's to Scandinavian mode (ie rear lights on with DRL's) also switches the dash lights on to?

I actually had this thought and went to the shops at lunch. This morning they weren't on at all (no idea why) however going to lunch they were on full blast. Now the weird part is coming back from the shops they were barely on, however you could see some light... What is going on!?

I have my rear lights set to come on with DRL and the dash is illuminated all the time, and doesn't do that annoying fading thing!

it is possible to set the dials on all the time, IIRC its part of the "rear lights being DRL's" not sure if it can be done via OBD Eleven but certainly can be on VCDS

I have just had a play with setting the dials to be on all the time and I have figured it out. It's not linked to rear DRLs at all.

You want to do the following:

1. Dash Board
2. Adaptations
3. Illumination_algorithm
4. Change Scale_switching_algorithm from parking_light to Ids

See screenshot below.

Does anyone know if stop start can be permanently turned off?

I have my drls set to Scandinavian setting and my dash still dims to nothing before the headlights switch on automagically so need to be set as per devs post above

You sure can. Why you'd want to, I'm not sure.

They tested it on 5th Gear and it was actually surprising how many miles the car did with stop/start.
