Oh that's good.
I don't have fir date for my car yet, SEAT just said it would be delivered to the dealers within 7 working days of the dealers booking the car on Monday, so between now and Monday, the dealers want it before the weekend but I can wait, just!

Got one of these on order but have an iPhone. Looking at getting a tablet to run the app does anyone know if an amazon fire tablet would be capable of running the app being tethered to my phone for the internet

I'm pretty sure Amazon runs its own operating system so I'd say no you'd need an android device.

Ahh did not know that thanks for the info. I will look at a different one then but a tablet tethered to a phones internet should be okay?

Yeah should be, I'm in the same boat I use an iPhone but bought a tablet, can pick up a reasonably good one for £50 or so depending how cheap you want to go, I got a Lenovo tab 3 from Argos for £80 but fancied getting one anyway. My car is parked on my drive within range of my wifi so I connect that way

You just need a relatively up to date android OS, Bluetooth and wifi enabled and you'll be good to go :)

This is MK3 Leon section, you need either the Mk2 one or probably the Diagnostics, Modifications and Tuning section.

There's a Spanish link a few pages back and it details how to do it.

I tested it and it works but it's silly, and certainly illegal. You cannot have flashing red lights on a non emergency vehicle without a permit usually.

Is is really flashing red ? Or is it just lowering the intensity of the red light to show more clearly the flashing of the orange, the DRL's do a similar thing on the front ?
That is a genuine wondering, I'm not suggesting it's a sensible idea, I believe I already replied to someone on here who asked how to do it and suggested it was a bad ideal, looks like a ford with a bad earth and was probably illegal, but now I'm wondering if it's legal or not or one of those grey areas, or maybe allowed from a point of safety/loophole as lots of the regs governing this sort of thing are Offten years old or vague. Does anyone know for sure ?

The DRLs at the front dim once, so it's not quite the same.

In any case, it looks rubbish. Just fit LED indicators, it's fairly easy and will give you the bright LED flash you want without it breaking any laws.

In respect of "flashing" lights on emergency vevicles, if I remember correctly years ago when they first were introduced both front headlights used to flash in unison, nowadays they seem to favour the wig wag style of alternative headlights flashing. I don't ever remember seeing the red rear lights flashing in the tail light clusters.

I would ideally like to active all the red rear leds in tailgate and leds around existing brake lights, as additional brake lights, I'm sure its listed in the the translated Spanish post that Baron referred to, but which one ?

I already have Leds fitted, which I think are are still poor mainly due to the size of the indicator housing/lens.

It's quite common but they're usually activated in conjunction with the rear red lights on the lightbar (or concealed LEDs on an unmarked vehicle).

My LED indicators are easily equally as bright as the old bulbs I took out, with the benefit that the instant on-off flash makes the more noticeable.

Its certainly illegal to have red indicators, don't know if what your thinking of doing is.
But if you like how it looks then do it, it doesn't seem to present any sort of danger or hazard to other road users so if you like it do it.
The most that will likely happen is your get a 14 day rectification notice If the police take a dislike to it.
But tbh most are more interested in playing with their speed guns or other revenue raising things, than dealing with the paperwork for minor infractions, if indeed it even is :)

Not sure on all the brake lights one though, could be a bit overpowering for anyone following, bit like how idiots put there rear fog lights on at the slightest hint of drizzle, that is distracting :censored:

Hi! How do you think, is it possible to change interval between values in trip statistics become to zero?
Because now in trip computer I've got statistics only for 10 000km or 100 hours, and every 100hours/10Kkm it becomes zero again.
I'd prefer to have a bit more long-term stats. Can I have stats for 999 hours and 99 999 km at least?
