Could be more difficult ..... could have had yours cancelled ... and I sold my car in readiness .... could deal with a few weeks without a car ..... now I have to find and order another car and wait longer

Totally agree, i have been lucky to be given an alternative along with a loan car, but still too many mistakes

Nope .... test driving 140i tomorrow..... but lots more money and bit boring to look at but got some grunt..... it's hard to find anything that was as good and as good price ... on monthly lease virtually all that come close are 100 + more pm

Have you tried going to your local seat dealer as when i was offered my alternative there was a few other cars available, mainly SC's

I am driving a 2001 renault laguna atm. Abs dont work few niggles. But it was £260 and has mot till march next year! Cant wait to get out of it. So gutless. Good runner though it is..

I might pester my dealer again about it this week but Im expecting late Nov/early Dec for mine.

I ordered end of August through nationwide vehicle contracts. 5 door HB in Alor blue. Told to expect around early December. Found out this Tuesday (8th Nov) that my order can't be honored and SEAT have cancelled. No explanation, just deposit returned. Such poor service from SEAT that anyone would think they don't want to sell cars! So the search begins again on a different hatchback.

Should think silver will be ok. It's a common Seat colour and not only used on a couple of specific models like alor and dynamic.

Still **** for you. I was going to go for Alor and Dynamic but ended up going for silver as nobody else really seemed to be choosing it.

SEAT should be honouring the cancelled orders with either a colour swap (which they originally offered) or the face-lift in another colour.

Well i finally collected my alternative alternative! I think even with orders being cancelled and the like, i was one of the lucky ones to get an alternative quickly and with a few extras thrown in: dsg, seat sound and camera pack, and to be fair the monsoon grey looks really nice

That does look good in grey .... mmmm got me thinking now.... always thought grey was boring which is why I was going for alor ..... now I'm not sure
