No idea on mine, brokers never give me any details.

Just estimated to be with the dealer end of November. Makes getting rid of my car and real pain.

To be fair to the dealers (hi Carly) there isn't a boat every day so a car built on a Tuesday might make a boat and one built on a weds will be on the next boat which may be a week later.

I'm just being impatient as im sure we all are the closer delivery comes

does anyone know that if my director of the business has signed the lease agreement, and the finance docs, will they let me pick it up from the dealer, considering it's my car, just in the business name.. help

I ordered in the beginning of August with B4C and they've told me b*gger all. I've been told to call back w/b Nov 21st for an update. Don't have any evidence that the order is in the pipeline for manufacture. Asked them to find out but they're ignoring my emails. They've offered the Cupra at a great discount but their customer service is non-existent.

I've had the same experience. I've cancelled my order partly because of the poor service and partly because I found a good deal on an 135i. So if anyone wants a 3 door Cupra BE manual contact Stoneacre Peterborough as it's going on Thursdays boat.

They will, I deal with leasing (admittedly not VWFS) and the person collecting defo does not have to be the director

Obviously take some id with you though and let the dealer know in advance it is yourself collecting it

so it doesn't matter that it has her name and signature on the documentation? if i get her to phone then before collecting and take some ID, then i should be okay?

No it doesn't, lease companies deal with companies with massive fleets so they do not expect the director to collect every vehicle, you will be asked to sign a delivery note for the car with your name, position in the company and signature and off you go!

thanks man! was worried for a second thinking how i would retrieve the car other than having someone drive it to me, but that's no fun.

Because they won't necessarily know? Mines on a boat now and I still don't know when I'll get to collect it

Yep. They've not been in touch to say when collection is possible. Just that I'll have to go in a couple of days before to sign the docs and they can't do that until the car is at the dealership. The boat is in Le Havre now and will be in Brugge tomorrow morning.

so the absolute pricks from the dealer are now are saying they can't do a handover, so i now have another week to wait until someone can deliver it to me, baring in mind i was BW 37, so pissed off it is unreal, could seriously hurt someone!
