Today i played my eq settings a little bit,not perfect,but better.i set it to 4-4-2-2-3. Must plug mic and a laptop too se frequency response.

Car treated with CQuartz. Now looks gorgeus. Service guys said that it has soft lacquer, there were two spots on bonnet where stones chipped it off. And car only has 1600 km on odo.

Not sure I agree with the soft lacquer, my paintwork doesn't have any swirls yet whereas cars with soft clearcoat, you so much as breathe on them and they swirl.

I'm considering applying some CQUK to mine as I've money off to utilise, any pics?

Got them on eBay, loads of design options there also different colours. At now they stays on, they should survive high temperatures, will see as the time goes...

Cheers bud! The car's going in for a 2 day detail and gloss coating on Tuesday so I'll leave that job to the man being paid for it!

Fitted 034 dogbone mount (well, yesterday really) and went for a drive today. TO be honest, I don't think the benefits outweigh the extra coarseness that it introduces. Yes, there is a sharper step-off and the tyres (Conti 5P) don't tramp as much, but there is much more NVH on hard acceleration and a definite 'kick' when the car starts - which it does often with the start-stop active

Might take it out later

Not quite today, but just got back from a road trip in Norway with my estate FR 1.4 TSI ACT (150). The main point of doing a road trip was obviously to enjoy the roads. And they were absolutely amazing. A few shots of the roads and the car. Just can't get the whole atmosphere and size of the mountains and roads in one photo, needs to be driven to understand the scale of the roads and mountains.

Popped down to Halfrauds on Sunday to get my Nextbase Dash Cam hard wired... bought the Dash Cam earlier last month, but wanted to see if I liked it first before going down the hard wired route - only took them 35-40 mins to do the whole thing and all for £30... bargain ! So much nicer than having the cable running all the way from the cigarette lighter showing...
