Took my sump of and gave it a clean plus my oil pick up pipe, and put two new handbrake cables on, now to finally get my oil catch can on the car haha

Took the MAF out to clean it after getting an EML, but it was so clean already that it looked brand new, cleaned it anyway. Also fitted return springs on the handbrake levers as they weren't returning, handrake went from 6 notches down to 2.

I fitted return springs also but my right hand side still isn't returning, I've been told the mechanism in the caliper is goosed so means new caliper, I've tried grease but still nothing

I was going to replace my rear calipers, but thought I would try the return springs first as they were only £8 and a much easier job. They do caliper repair kits, but if the internals are knackered you are probably better replacing the caliper.

Couldn't agree more! So easy to do it all online with Autoglass rather than ringing your insurance company. Think mine was £75 thanks to Admiral
