Picked it up Thursday. Woo!

Chrome removal and plate to go on, possibly springs but I'm buzzing, great motor ;)

Just returned from a fantastic 1,000 mile road trip 3 nights in Inverary touring Kintyre, Cowal and Bute and home via A 2 night stay in Edinburgh with a run down the borders yesterday loved every minute of the drive but need to keep the mileage down over the coming weekends as the car is due its first service in 500 miles

Took mine on it's first real blast on the back roads, it's spent the last 4 months just going to work and back on the motorway. It was a bit strange as on the motorway it always feels like it needs a little more power for overtaking but on the back roads the 150 felt like plenty. Might still need to get the tuning box though.

Was nice in Ayrshire

Is yours the diesel or petrol? Mine's a diesel and I agree with every word you've said here. I'm also considering a tuning box but worry about voiding the warranty. Really enjoying the car, though. It's certainly the best front drive chassis I've had, really planted and responsive. I've still got the rattly doors despite a visit to the dealer, so sound deadening is next on the list!

I've got the diesel as well complete with rattly doors

I think the tuning box being removable means it can be taken off for warranty work not leaving a trace.

Plastidip. I'm converted, that was the easy application ever.

also did the back. Messed the boot badge up but true to advertised it just came straight off, ill have another go this week.

it has a slightly 'orange peel' look but you need to get very close to see it. Wear and tear is a wait and see but tbh it comes off so easy i dont really care.

Where are your doors rattling?

I think mine has developed some and I've booked it into the dealers for a look. I think I've located it in the left rear passenger door and the drivers door - it's quite intermittent though. Not always rattling :S

Looks good that, was it easy to do?

Yeah it weren't bad.

Put the front up.
Removed both wheels
Cleaned the Calipers with some brake cleaner and a wire brush
Masked off the pads and other parts not be painted
And then painted one coat
Then dried with a hairdryer
Applied 2nd coat of paint and dried again.
Remove masking tape
Put wheels back on
And don't drive it for 18-24 hours. (That's without drying it with hairdryer).

Took 3 hours for all 4 corners. I was taking my time.

Nice one, just noticed the masking tape in your first pic!
What paint did you use? Heat proof etc?

I used some e-tech calliper paint for mine, came in a tin with a brush. Painted mine gold behind black wheels.
