Now I got news today that my car is at the dealer there just waiting for the number plate and a place in de workshop to check everything before I can pick it up. I'm hoping by the end of next week I can pick it up

Getting close now then - soon have a pickup date and then you can count number of sleeps until collection!

Not sure I could wait that long - would probably have gone elsewhere. On the other hand that 1.4 engine is something special and most of my alternatives were much slower with less torque/power.

It as drove me crazy luckily my son still lives at home so he's been the house taxi in his skoda fabia lol

I could not have waited any longer! The 2 weeks from order to collection felt like a lifetime! Still sounds like everyone should have theirs soon! Just given mine its first wash, love the monsoon grey!

2 weeks! Mine will be around 10 weeks. How are you finding the engine - have you pushed it yet or are you running it in?

Engine is great, obviously not as powerful as my VXR but so much smoother while still being quick.

I'll upload some pics now, only got 1 of the outside for now as the sun went in and took a couple of the infotainment system.

Another question - do the door card have any cloth material on or are they entirely plastic - in the area where you would rest your elbow?

There's some cloth, I'll take a pic if Im out later.

Here's some pics after today wash, used G3 detox to remove showroom wax, AG super resin polish and finished with AG HD Wax. Wheels cleaned a sealed, glass polished just plastic, rubber and tyres left to do if it brightens up again.

Yep me too I love the colour, really shines! I was torn between monsoon grey, chilli red and technic grey.

I didn't pay for it, just had to check the pic to see if I had one! No idea mate.
