Odd, my Corsa one was direct from Vauxhall and was just an extension of the standard warranty. Looks like I'll have to pay up when I pick it up then!
I could be wrong - better check with your dealer!

I ordered my Ibiza 1.4 EcoTsi end of November got a bit tired of waiting so called the dealer and they said week 10 was the production week and expect delivery end of March.
(I live in Holland) they said I'll be one of the first people in the country to own this car
It came with executive package they call it here arm rest rear camera climate control adaptive xenon lights rain sensor plus some other stuff off top of my head I'm not sure
So SEAT have confirmed that my car is on the cargo ship 'World Spirit' which is currently heading for Belgium from southern France. I can't track any further back than that on marinetraffic.com as I only have a free account. I'll be tracking it eagerly!
Just ordered a 1.4 150 FR last Thursday - Coming from an Astra H VXR which is 280 BHP so a bit of a drop in that respect but I was actually really impressed with the FR on test drive - felt much faster than its quoted 150 BHP. Have ordered a Lima green one with black back and pretty much every added extra on the list so have been quoted around 4 months for delivery. Can't wait now!!
that is two VXR owners looking to change to the FR 150 - it's a smaller car and although the engine is only a 1.4 it is very torquey which probably makes it feel faster. Not sure I could wait 4 months though - you must have more patience then me.
How have you found the change? To be fair I have absolutely loved my VXR! Hence why i'm in no rush really to get the ibiza I'mg getting it through a work lease scheme you see so end up payig the same for a new ibiza every month as i'm paying for my VXR astra. Other than that I wouldn't have changed it. Though going from 26 MPG will be a nice change
Not me, Matth345 posted in this thread he is coming from a Corsa VXR. I'm coming from a Merc A200 CDI. Trying to save a few quid on monthly outgoings - saves me £80 a month so will live with a step down in perceived quality(A Class is a lovely car and the engine is great but boy does it rattle and squeak.)
Not got it yet! I meant Wednesday the 16th!
Does anyone know anything about the extended warranty? I've read somewhere the old time you can buy it is when the car is new not after the standard warranty is nearly up, this true?
Ah okay. Yes any saving in fuel is a good thing - though i'm currently only doing about 7k miles a year. Will definitely increase in the new car though. if it ever arrives......
I need some new car pics - have you picked it up yet? Thoughts?
Yep! Love it, really nice to drive. Quicker than expected and really nice and smooth through the gears. Tech pack goodies are really nice, sat nav is really good and uses the screen between the dials to show you where to go. Car play is very cool, wish there was a dedicated button for it witout having to go through the menus. Monsoon grey looks awesome in the sun and I really like the 17 inch wheels. Glad I didn't pay extra for the speakers as the sound is already really good!
Haven't taken any pics yet as Ive just got back from the dealer which was a 2.5 hour drive (averaged 42.4mpg). Let me know if you have any questions and Ill try to answer!
Great stuff. Given you have travelled a decent distance on your first day can you tell me how it is on road noise on the 17" wheels?
Excited about the carplay too - looking forward to album art when playing music etc. I've read some reports that Carplay is a little slow - have you found this?
Lastly the interior - how is the fit and finish in the FR?
Road noise is fine, didn't notice it to be honest. CarPlay doesn't seem slow but you don't really get album art it kind of displays it behind the text, I'll take a photo today for you. Interior quality is really good everything feels solid and I really like the black with red stitching everywhere.
