Never heard of the obdeleven app before, went to have look on their website as per the link above in post #1776, can't see any info on there as to what you might be able to change using this app.

It says the "pro" version allows programming and screenshots show settings being changed.

My email with reply below, looks like this could be a neat tool (or lots of amateurs bricking their car "experimenting")...

With our tool you can do everything that can be done with other professional tools as VCDS, but we don't have any instructions what control units must be recoded. Maybe your tow bar seller have some info about it.

Hi, I am buying a tow bar for my Leon MK3.

Will this product allow update to vehicle so that towing is sensed/activated.

Do you provide instructions for settings/coding so which can be changed?

Thanks.

I took my kid down to the Forth Road Bridge, in mine, and we walked over it tonight.

Took a couple of shots, one showing insignificance of a car dwarfed by the Forth Bridge, and another with the Queensferry Crossing (under construction) as a backdrop.

Only a week old and have clocked up nearly 600 miles, had some lovely weather and done some road trips!
Have begun to let it off the reins, and having great fun!
Also found out holding down the unlock button on the keys results in all the windows going down... Found this a bit odd. Maybe useful for summer months when the car is boiling?
Unfortunately I live in Scotland, so more likely to be raining!

Yes all VAG cars do it, don't keep your finger on unlock too long or use it by mistake ( as in your pocket ) or you could end up with a wet a.se as happened to my son in his A6 and friends in their Golf when it rained..... heavily...... with all the windows down:rofl: and they live in Scotland too. Windows steamed up for a year after:lol: As you say handy for hot summer days ( which this year I believe is one day in June up here ) when you can open all the windows at some distance from the car to vent it before gettin in:whistle:

I bought some of that magic felt tape and GummiPfleger. With these, I have the most advance, state of the art technology SEAT use to fix the squeaky bits! and it was cheaper than wasting fuel going to and from ever dealer

Let me quess...a-pillar?
Well that was done in warrenty, along with the dash and other bits but it seems to have reappeared so I think some extra padding in that and some other places is required. The gummi is for the door seals which I've been using an oil based lube currently but fancied trying something more suited for rubber
