what did you and your mk3 leon do today

They do but bloke in shop said G40 was OK to use and says on bottle approved for VAG 2005 onwards.... I have no clue what the difference is?

G40 by comma and others is pretty close to G12 but not officially approved by VW.

You would be better using the approved G13 or equivalent on the newer cars.

Eurocarparts do it pretty cheap

Found this on another site....looks like there is no performance difference between G12++ (G40) and G13....just environmental. Wish I had gone to euro though as their price is much better!

Hello. Yes, we recommend replacing your fluid with Comma Xstream G40, which meets VAG G12++ spec. We do not recommend VAG G12 spec.

The "++" is very important to note.

G12++ spec antifreeze contains silicated OAT corrosion inhibitor that is backwards compatible with silicate-containing and non-silicated OAT antifreeze, and offers 5 year protection.

Alde branded antifreeze is either G12++ spec, or the later G13 spec. (G13 replaces 20% of the ethylene glycol with glycerin for reduced environment impact, but is otherwise the same. Comma don't currently produce a G13 spec antifreeze so it isn't commonly available in the UK. If it was, we'd to able to recommend G13 instead.)

No mine does not have the sunroof but they charged me £120 for the roof and both wing mirrors. They also did the little part on the top of the boot.

From the other quotes I got it seems a fair price, Other wanted in excess of £250.

That is good, I just paid 120 for the roof redoing as it came off in one corner (2 years of not caring how I washed it ).

The bit on the top of the boot, assuming it's similar to mine, be careful cos they could only fold it over one side and it soon came off

They obviously don't get as much rain in Spain. In the rain, I have water dripping on my shoulders and dash. I don't think it's appropriate to have to wear a rain coat in the car on a rainy day lol

Where did you get that done, as i am wanting that on mine, roof, mirrors, roof spoiler when i get that, and the front lip done. Also i want to get wheels powder coated or sprayed black also!!

Went to get my front lip wrapped in gloss black but then 2 heat guns broke so they said sorry we can't do it and sent me on my way with a roll of vinyl and told me to try it myself! After won't 2 hours of my time and 50 miles worth of fuel I was not amused
