One of the things thats been annoying me since getting my car is the previous owner has somehow managed to get loads of tiny scratches on the back window and both mirror glasses. I can only assume from the swirl pattern, maybe a car wash?

Anyways, I know the "official" Seat mirror glass retails for £45ish... So £90 for the set.

But for £22.50 each I could have:
http://www.npautoparts.co.uk/car-maintenance-c2/car-mirror-glass-c186/seat-leon-mk-2-4-09-6-13-left-hand-n-s-wing-mirror-glass-heated-convex-p67012

Or for £10 each I could have:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Right-Driver-side-Convex-Wing-mirror-glass-for-Seat-Leon-2009-2012-Heated-/290580069636?hash=item43a7ebfd04:g:ngYAAOSwnipWZapQ

Anyone got any advice? Is there any difference between the 3 or am I paying for the name? If I went with the £10 glass, are they likely to burn out quicker cause of cheaper heating elements?

The heated element in the eBay £10 ones is awful - it takes 3 times as long to clear than my existing 8 year old Seat glass... Been in for 18 months or so and still working but i wouldn't buy again

Thanks for the warning. I've examined the mirrors a bit more closely and the passenger side isn't too bad. The drivers is like a ice rink. So I think I'll go for the proper seat glass. Do the drivers side now then the passenger side in a pay day or twos time.
