Just noticed that myself, either that or there is no stock but would be unsure as to why you couldn't order them in but wait a bit longer.

I was surprised when they said it would be ready by November from originally January, either the dealer is wrong or I got lucky hoping its the latter.

Hope mine is like that. I do hope they haven't stopped the multi spoke only just ordered the car last week!

Weird...I've just gone on the configurator and you can still choose them? The picture is of the standard wheels, but when you click on them they show on the car....

I too ordered mine with multi spoke wheels (on the 9th Sept) and told build week 42...which i was told is next week.

Jealous of you guys with week 42. I ordered that week as well and got told week 46! This waiting is painful. There are only so any YouTube videos I can watch of the car!

I emailed today to see if removing the reversing camera would speed up my order and I was told I could no longer change the order as it had been locked for build week 44! Pleased that it has moved forwards two weeks that is for sure, just hope it comes over from Spain and to the dealer quickly.

So, I'm picking up my Cupra from the dealers tomorrow after work. Really don't know where you guys get your patience from, I ordered mine ten days ago and I'm impatient enough, if it'd been weeks I'd have been going crazy! Luckily I wasn't bothered about much in the way of options.

Great, love it so far but the traffic on the way home didn't let me test it out properly. Need to be very careful with the right foot or I'll be owing the local police a lot of money!

It's going to take me an age to work out what all the menus do!

I have a 1.2 Mk3 Leon now and I can not believe how much speed i get from that! I am assuming the Cupra is a completely beast slightly nervous!

Cupra is in for a 2 day new car detail. Can't wait to see the results!

Found out today that car was built 4 days ago (quoted week 42 originally), missed the boat this week but all being well, should be able to collect it 1st week in November or earlier with a bit of luck and a strong wind!!

Quite happy as that's less than 5 weeks from ordering it to being built as I expected quite a bit longer based on what I'd heard...

So I placed an order for a Leon 280 5dr in Monsoon Grey yesterday (through a lease company).

Got a message this morning saying that SEAT are no longer taking orders for the 280 as the 290 is due. Spoke to another lease company this morning and they confirmed they got the message too!

Looks like I missed out by 1 day - and now I have to wait (they think until at least next month) before I can place an order as the finance companies haven't decided on the residual value of the car yet!

Does anyone have any more information about this for me as the wait until January was going to be bad enough but now it will be even longer (and more expensive probably!)

Hi Andy, I'm from Czech Rep. but I wanted to order 280 at the beginning of Sept and I had to order 290 at the dealer. And yes it is more expensive here than model 280...

Almost 1400€...but I got bigger discount...and I didn't get any info when...dealer didn't know almost anything...so for me,i'll be a surprise

So I just called Seat. I ordered just over 2 weeks ago and still no build week. They guy on the phone said I'm not getting the 280 anymore I'm getting a 290 and that I'm price protected with the deal I made.
