is there many leon owners on this that has technic grey? Seen 1 at the dealer when ordering mine and had to have it, really nice colour in person, seems to be rare too as monsoon seems more popular choice! Would love to see more pics of it :)

Monsoon is more popular because with the Cupra line (for example) Technic isn't an option on the colour palette if it had been id have probably chosen it for being a little more unique. Ice Silver is rather nice too.

Mine's Technic Grey. I ordered Monsoon but then saw Technic in the flesh & changed my order. It's a great colour, fairly rare (I've seen one other ST in 5 months), & changes to a rich bronze in the sunshine.

Tis a lovely colour, more warmth than monsoon grey, IMO. Almost has a broze tint to it when viewed in the sun. I think Deans ST above looks great and is a good representation of how the colour looks in the bare metal.

My fave colur in the Leon mk3

I agree great colour, almost got it myself went for red again though in the end. Technic the most classy, red more sporty IMO. Looks surprisingly good in Ice Silver too.

Was originally going for red as it suits the FR but really happy I've went for technic plus metallic should be a little easier to keep in the long term

I think this is the same colour as limestone grey on a Mk7 Golf...? My missus nearly ordered that for her GTD, but the extra wait time and cost meant we went with a flat black car in stock. Regretting it now - it looks incredible when polished, but a mess after 1 mile on a wet road!!!

Hi Tom

Think the limestone is slightly lighter, had a good look at a GTI in Limestone next to each other significant difference.

GTD is a great looking car.

This is my FR 1.4 TSI ACT, which I only picked up this week, my previous car was an FR CR170, which was monsoon grey and is also a lovely colour, but I just fancied a change and love the Technic Grey. :D

Thanks Rob! She certainly loves it, and she can pretty well keep up with me in my Cupra. The huge slug of torque makes for a very drivable car on average roads.

Now I look at the pics of the ST in Technic, I think its lighter than Limestone!! :D

I will say though, they're both stunning colours.

Your right Tom Limestone is the darker one, the lighter VW colour is Tungsten.
