Hope there is no damage.
Never like it when the wind picks up as anything not tied down could cause some damage.

Wind took roof off shed and missed our y reg heap navara that has more dents than miles on it and hit my new cars roof, took it to my local bodyshop and the guy said it might need new roof.

Not good :(

Realised that the door still leaks a bit, booked car back in, drove car for first time in 12 days + started first time which was nice, went for a short drive thought it was a bit slow and realised it was on the eco setting I setup on individual setting while messing with it, quick change to Cupra and there we go normal service, impressed with the grip from my winters very good much fun. Just need to sort it's little leak and all is good.

Picked up the missus Leon 2.0tdi SE tech pack today.
Lovely car in metallic black, 5dr hatch. Pulls well and very nice inside, she is over the moon with it.
Now looking at private plates, car is on 63 plate. Her name S V Pegg and seen SV63 PEG...what do you reckon?

Actually seen SV05 PEG....looks better!

Meppershall Beds.
Only reason I thought of a new plate was mines's '63, and I wanted people to think I'm only 63...your lady wouldn't have taken offence at an "age" plate, would she?

Took a trip to the dealers to see if they could fix 3 problems with my car, the guy in the dealership looked as if i had killed his dog (manners cost nothing) then to be told i have to take time off work because the technicians only work mon-fri like myself. So its booked in a month from now fingures cross they do it right but not holding my breath.

Hi everybody.
Today I painted the 4 wheels on black mate and the calipers on red. Unfortunately im noob so I cant upload pictures. I have a fr sc 1.4 and last week I remapped it and the performance is amazing. Here are some data obtained through the obd port because there wasnt a dyno available to measure the HP and torque.

Original
ECO - ESC On
Constant 58 kPa= 8.41 PSi
Peak 93 kPa =13.48 PSi
Sport mode ESC off
Constant 68 kPa= 9.86 PSi
Peak 97 kPa = 14 PSi

With remap
ECO mode - ESC off
Constant 83 kPa= 12 PSi
Peak 120 kPa= 17.40 PSi

Sport mode ESC off
Constant 86 kPa= 12.47PSi
Peak 118kPa= 17.11PSi
3rd gear 93 kPa = 13.48 PSi
Now im looking for a forge blow off valve but for this engine I haven't found it yet :(

Stuck a set of Heko wind deflectors on it at the weekend. First commute to work this morning and the noise they make drove me nuts so they'll be coming straight off again...

Yeh, I had them on a mini years back, and that's one part of my past I won't be bringing back they were noisy and naff.

I'm not bothered about how they look (my cars usually filthy outside:D) as all I wanted was to stop getting a face full of water or snow when I opened a window but the wind noise isn't worth it.

As someone else also said, since aircon/climate control came along, I never open a window when on the move, so nowt will ever come in.
