Remote Central Locking - Key Coding

I have a simillar problem too. My 99' Seat Cordoba 1.9 TDI infrared remote key control does not work.
I replaced new battery and synchronized the key but doors do not unlock/lock. I followed all instructions as which friends mentioned above guidelines. At last I changed remote control unit 1L0959800 but nothing has changed. Is there any relay or fuse that effects remote system? or what is the problem?

Ok so I asked and I'm now replying my answer
My key remote control part is damaged. Why because I replaced a working another one and recoded then remote worked. So red light flash does not indicate that remote is working because it does not send radio sound wave inspite of reprogramming (guideline)

i followed this video and worked first time ,guy I got car from said key fob not worked since he owned it 5 years
