Basically if you look at the price list I had (https://www.dropbox.com/s/tpf7wzsvsdo95z0/LeonOptions.pdf) you will notice that there are 2 versions of the leather seats one for the SE/FR models with the option code PL1 and one for the Cupra 280 with code PL4. When I last went in to add ACC to my order they gave me a printout from their order system which listed my options and the order codes. I noticed last night that the leather seats option on my order had a code of PL1 which kinda confirmed to me that they have been ordering the FR seats for the black on black option, hence the missing logo on the demo cars we have seen. I went in this morning to point out the error, they discussed it with their ordering manager and told me that on their order system for the Cupra model the PL1 code is the only option they have available (even for the black with white accents) and do not know where the PL4 code has come from. They did however again re-assure me that it does come with the logo and they had one picked up at the weekend (with black on black leather) which did have the logo on. I didn't go as far as asking for photographic evidence, but on that note did anyone pick a Cupra up from Stoke Seat over the weekend?????
Do SEAT not cover themselves by stating in the small print somewhere, that due to continually updating design etc, that they can change spec at anytime.
Yes, despite what they said above he did also say that the factory do often change things without informing the dealers so they cannot predict what will be delivered. How this stands with false advertising and trading standards I don't know.
I did pressure them pretty hard for a definite answer so all I can say is I did what I could and hope my upfront persistence holds weight if it arrives without it.
I guess all I can do for now is cross my fingers and hope the car will arrive as described.
