Like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bFbnTAVZKAA&t=3m12s but don't use a screwdriver as it will scratch the plastic.
I don't think there was any way even the smallest screw driver would get away without marking some of the headliner fittings even in a small way.
I got the below kit for €22 in my local motor factors which works out at £18, there was a cheaper kit but this one should cover any uses I'll ever have. For the sake of not taking a chance I think they are a good investment.

can you use the flat 501s for the front map reading lights or do they have to be round 501s
Anyone have some pictures of the finished article inside? I am particularly interested in the footwell lighting and whether it is too bright with LED's when driving in the dark?

toro have you used the flat 501 in yours if so are they bright enough i used red bulbs for footwell dimmed down
I used the ones I listed foul rather up. 9SMD LED 501s. Can't upload pics properly as on my phone. But here's a link to one: https://fbcdn-photos-h-a.akamaihd.n...5_10203548709142468_7667707506530094123_n.jpg
You don't want to look directly at the light units out it that way.
That looks bright Toro, I gave up on boot bulbs in the end having tried several, a complete light unit I ordered was a tad too big, Ali seller wouldnt refund so I threw the towel in. Why SEAT use the same light unit for both the glovebox and the boot with hugely differing areas to illuminate beats me.
