Hi Matty, I've also placed my order through them. As you say, comms have been excellent and received confirmation in writing that I will be the first registered keeper. They apparently push a lot of volume through one dealership in Middlesborough... hence the savings. They've been around for quite a while with good ratings in general. Will see how the whole transaction works out, but feeling pretty good about it now. :)

I ordered from them Matty.. I admit it felt like a bit of a leap of faith and selling my previous car privately's a pain in the bum. I just couldn't justify the difference to order any other way though. I was given a 10-12 week lead time about 3 weeks ago.... All my local dealers also wouldn't even give me a quote once I mentioned brokers, they just said "go try and buy it from a broker" along with a lot of FUD talk..

It's funny that I got exactly the same response from my local dealer! I did not intentionally mention brokers but when they said they were not prepared to discount off list I said that online there were places offering discounts.
Thanks guys though at least you have put my mind at rest. The only other option I was considering was the ACC with front assist. Do you think this is worth going for especially on a manual?

I ordered ACC but on a DSG model. Whether it's worth it is arguable, I just fancied it.

Ordered a 5 door 280 manual in Monsoon Grey last week, waiting (impatiently) for confirmation of delivery date now.

I test drove a 280 SC DSG at my local dealer, that sealed it for me - genuinely surprised by the ride refinement in Comfort - important as this is replacing a Mazda 6 Sport as my family car. The fact that it has ballistic acceleration also helped...:)

I'm new to the forum but previous owner of a Toledo 1.8 20v SE - great car when I needed the huge boot for buggies etc.

What do people think of the stock seats after seeing the buckets, to me the stock seats look really poor now I've seen them. Im surprised they have put in seats like that.

I have not seen the buckets in the flesh, but I like the look of them in the pictures. Scott is probably the only person on here to have sat in both, as he was at the press launch. Buckets were not available when I ordered so it is a moot point, but had they been there is no way I would have paid £1200 extra for them.

I'm sure I can live with the standard seats. On our test drive car (a distant memory now) they were extremely comfortable and supportive. They don't look as good as buckets, for sure, but apart from that it isn't going to spoil the car for me. I'm living with it ;)

that is my point but im so torn. The price is putting me off big time but no doubt im going to have them. I suppose when you are getting big discounts from a broker its not so bad and if you opt for the winter pack its not so much of £1200 it now goes down to around £900.

The standard seats seemed fine to me too, certainly comfortable over the distance of my test drive (although I liked the Golf GTI seats more). Personally wouldn't choose the buckets, mainly due to the cost - budget dictated that I couldn't go mad with the options but happy enough with standard spec.

Took the missus to the dealer the other day to show her the demo car and first thing she said was "Oh my god, please tell me your car doesn't have those two tone seats?!". LOL

I was hoping to get her to order a second car, but she didn't want us to be Howard and Hilda. We had a test sit in an Ibiza and couldn't believe how poorly built and finished it was in comparison to the Leon. The doors werent even fitted correctly meaning the bodywork creases weren't lined up. Shocking!

You know what, that is the only niggle I have with the Cupra, not sure the two tone seats do it for me, and the all black looks a bit plain. MK2 seats seemed better - Shame really, other than that it's great ;)

The white bits are horrible. They're some sort of nylon material like they make tents out of, not a different coloured leather(ette).

I thought the standard seats were OK myself (material wise, anyway) :) Would prefer all black but they aren't available without opting for the cheap looking leather tick box. It's all nit picking anyway as the car is going to be so much fun to drive I won't be giving a toss about the colour of the seat bolsters.

At least the colour contrast breaks up the cabin a bit. Is very dark with the traditional Cupra black headlining.

Anyone on here taken delivery yet? Must be getting close not for all those who ordered in March.

My demo had the 2 tone leather and the black bits were fine. Felt like the real thing anyway!

As long as you're happy, that's all that counts. Who cares what anyone else thinks? Our demo had the gray / black Alcantara and an FR in the showroom had the leather so I did have a close look at both. Preferred the Alcantara out of the two.

Car is at sea so it's too late to change anyway! Am about to order some Gtechniq I1 Smart Fabric for when it arrives.
