Certainly are! Always little niggly things haha, I've ended up ordering some just an inch longer so shouldn't be too bad

How did you guys fit your pressed plates in?

I was originally thinking of drilling them and securing them using the same screws as my old ones.. but now I'm thinking a surround like this may be better?

Number plates look better the less fussy they are imo.

I wish we had the USA way as they dont run front number plates and cars look so much better for it.

Number plates spoil nice cars.


Dont mid the pressed plates but I dont like the black rim around them on the ones linked to on the other page.

Yeah I tend to agree with you, the more simple the better, hence I purchased the pressed plates without a black rim on them.

I was provided with double sided foam tape to put them on but thats not really secure in my opinion, and drilling into them could possibly cause rust after a period of time...

Any other options?

if they are alloy plates, they wont rust so should be ok to drill. Just make sure you use masking tape where you will drill through incase you slip and scratch the new metal plate! (you prob already would do this but just incase )

I have them surrounds from creation motorsport and they are great quality.

Hey guys - I have alsways used the number plate sticky pads to avoid the holes and never had a problem. Seem to be pretty sturdy

Hi Fonzie, just seem a little insecure to me, like someone could pull them off or eventually they'd come off with wear & tear, rain etc?

I've had mine on ages now. I haven't even got the plates sticky tabbed to the surround. Once you try and open them you know they secure.

I think as long as you get the right stuff its really solid. Had to take them off recently and wasnt easy to pull them off. Also look sleeker i think

True, it would look sleeker but think the surrounds will look sportier.

Cant say that I've noticed but I'll have to have a look now that you've said it lol
