Can't believe I have only just stumbled across this RR thread. This is probably the nicest LCR I have ever seen. I think the main reason for me liking it so much is that this is a perfect example of how mod whilst keeping the OEM style.
Mate your car just gets better and better. I love your attention to detail with your mods. We could all learn a thing or two from you.
Would be very happy to tuck this away in a garage for a while and tinker with it when i had the time.
I think it's a lovely car with all the work and time you've put into it,Just a shame you won't be updating your thread as much as i always look forward to seeing how it's coming along.
Jesus there is something in the air....
I'm the same I'm miserable without a project I got rid of my 205 before I got married as the bottom end went and decided not to repair it before the wedding and broke it! BIG MISTAKE
I spent the next few years wishing for a project but mileage and circumstance stopped that from happening until the LCR
A young new family doesn't leave much time as you don't want to miss anything (I know it was for me) but as they get older I know my little boy (know 3-1/2) loves it he bri vs his little box of tools and 'helps'
If the car doesn't owe you anything and you don't need the money enjoy the family, leave it be and when you've made the 100% decision go back to it.
Shame if you do let it go because its a stunning example and would love to see it in person especially with the bodywork plans you have/had.
If it was me I'd do the bodywork add abit more power maybe stage 2? And enjoy!
there is still no other hot hatch car on the road today that looks as good as my Leon Cupra R
