How much where them recaro bucket seats there well nice wouldn't mind some of them in my mk4 Cupra
I got them off a mate for a really good deal. Their about £500ish each brand new! Can pick up secondhand ones now and again for good money though! :)

Been having boost leak issues recently, so I had nothing planned and was bored late on Saturday night so went up to my unit to find the source of the problem.

IMG_1687_zps6cf1e0a9.jpg

Turns out it's the pipe that runs underneath the car has been hitting the ground and split one of the hoses and slight puncture hole on the pipe!

I really need to hurry up and order a pipework kit to relocate it round the cam over to avoid going under the car!

Not cleaned the engine bay since winter, it was pretty filthy! So gave it a quick clean up!

IMG_1693_zps5fb76992.jpg

Need to order up my Phenolic Gasket from Badger5 before I fit my powdercoated inlet manifold and rocker cover.

Make it look a wee bit more pleasing on the eye! Cause right now it looks crap lol

Superb work here with some very nice mods + its silver ;-)
Thanks mate... Haha yeah silver win :p

Fitted my Black Forest Industries engine/gearbox mounts today.

Old worn mounts goodbye...

IMG_1713_zpsc8b71371.jpg

Only got a pic of one fitted as the other two you can't really see

IMG_1718_zps9c863aca.jpg

Engines nice and solid now and its raised it a good bit so my sump is further away from the ground! :D

Buuuut... Since it's raised the engine, the downpipe is now right up against the bulkhead so its constatly shaking the whole inside of the car and rattling like hell ha.
So I'm going to have to go back to the company that modified the decat the last time to get them to cut and re-angle it again lol Urgh! :(

Was originally going to go for blue to match my calipers but thought that would be too much.

So then thought about white but in the end went for silver to match the colour of the car.

Turned out really well, happy with the choice! :D

I've heard about them, think I'll be using chameleon metal coatings as they are nearer to me and their work seems spot on.

I can't decide between anthracite or going something bright light yellow or pink.

I was going to go with Anthracite but since my starfish alloys are that I wanted to go with something different as I'm bored with that colour.

Anthracite will look spot on with the Imperial Blue mate! DO IT!!!

Hard to see them cause they're black but you get the general idea!

Got my Phenolic Gasket so fitted that whislt the Inlet was getting changed over...

IMG_1965_zps56104026.jpg

Nice stainless bolts to tidy it up and keep it clean...

IMG_1966_zps7463a84c.jpg

Masked up the TB to match it with my crackle black Inlet Manifold

Also done the same with the boost pipe, but no pictures.

IMG_1967_zps756d3fed.jpg

New gasket fittted and TB bolted up... Awesome match to the Inlet :)

IMG_1968_zps440b47c4.jpg

While I was doing all this I got carried away.
Decided to paint my alternator black and tidy up the fuel rail area by removing all the plastic clips/holders and relocating the pipes and wiring underneath the inlet manifold.
End result...

IMG_1975_zps0b3ee0fd.jpg

Muuuuuuch better and tidy looking! Happy with it for now.

All I need to do is relocate the intercooler pipes. That's at a later date though.

Nice work there, getting on quickly, what make front upper strut brace is that? Do you have front and rear arbs or just the rear?

I did think it was the seat sport, i have omp adjustable one and yours seems a much better fit.
Is it a difficult job fitting the rear? I have both front and rear to fit in next week or so.

Looks top work, bay looks good, the crackle black looks great in there

Hmmmm... Yours should still fit ok though, no?

Erm, its not too bad... would be a lot easier on a ramp and somebody to help hold it up for you while you clamp and bolt it up into place. As I done it on the ground on my own, and it was a tad tricky to say the least, doable but just annoying in areas haha

Thanks, yeah I love the look of crackle black! :)
