Going by the Revo website, rrp of 1 x engine mount is £146.39

Times that by 2 = £292.78 mark + transmission mount £155.99 = Total 448.77

So about 100 quid for fitting.

I would highly recommend Statllers too - very impressed with the service.

Edit: The TTS cover I think is the best option, fits fine and looks OEM - personally I think some of the aftermarket one's look pants, the completely flat look - I could do that with a piece of cardboard. TTS cover is about £80 + a few quid for the brackets which screw into the engine to hold it on.

Defo Need a clutch to go with that, my LCR clutch slips with just the Stage 2 Map and some people slip with just a stage 1 map.

Engine Mounts, On previous cars I have just done the Dog Bone, Ill be doing the same with the LCR. The other mounts are fine.

Yeah I agree mate. Clutch is a must. Mine started slipping a 26k on the clock just after 2+ upgrade.

I've not changed mounts but will be going for THS dog bone mount soon. And possibly a WALK kit.

Nice one. I am not sure on the WALK Kit. Not sure what benefits it offers really.

Mine has 24k on it and slips on the Stage 2 when it gets to temp. I have seen a few with slipping clutches with only a Stage 1 map

Like I have said as well the Dog-bone is the only mount I will be upgrading. The other mounts will be fine.

I have the WALK with uprated dogbone mount (no uprated engine mounts) and don't get the wheel skip which I did have big style even with Stg 1 prior to the WALK.

Puts a stop to the mad wheel-hop you can get when accelerating once you are Stg 2+!

I Would hope the LSD would stop that. And I assume the WALK kit just moved the positioning of the wheels a few mm? Does it make that much difference?

LSD don't do much at all in a straight line but in the corners it's amazing

thats interesting mmm... do you think stage 2+ is really fast enough? am i going mad or should I really be pushing towards a stage 3 with uprated turbo? how many people do you reckon go the full monty? or am I just being plane greedy with power? is stage 3 too much? unuseable skid/hop/bollux about all over the place?

There are quite a lot of FWD cars running 400bhp+ but personally having owned a FWD Cupra running 360bhp, it's plenty fast enough. The low down power is useable in perfect conditions only. You will chew tyres. You will get wheel spin in 1st - 4th. You will get understeer. And that's at Stage 2+. You will need to sink £1k or so in to handling mods to reduce this properly. It'd be a shame to go Stage 2+ and not do proper handling mods.

On a rolling start with decent torque/acceleration control you can use all the power much more easily - both at Stage 2+ & Stage 3. 400bhp on a rolling start, dry weather with R888 tyres would be epic.

Even if you do look at Stage 3, you're still going to need all the Stage 2+ mods regardless, so you've nothing to lose if you decide to upgrade. Just make sure you spec a suitable clutch.

ah i see... well i'm going to have the full engine mount revo monty mods done next week (engine top 2/transmission/pendulam)

was kinda hoping that'd suffice? not planning on plowing into corners with a death wish, do i still need uprated handling?

what handling kit are we talking about? shocks/springs/strut brace?

can you recommend parts/makes/where to buy/prices?

dont really wanna part with the cash for now however dont wanna **** ride either! lol

does uprated handling make the ride more uncomfortable? does it need to be lowered as part of the process?

sorry for all the questions... ps never reply to a newbie, they'll drive you mad! lol much appreciated though ;)

Mounts are going to help. Just be careful that you don't end up with too much vibration in the cabin. So get some feedback from the guys here that have done them, and get recommended makes.

Being a powerful FWD car, your'e going to get understeer and wheel hop/wheel spin. So, coilovers/springs along with SALK (SuperPro anti-lift kit) & ARBs (H&R) are going to be recommended. Then get a good geometry set up done.

I went with springs, WALK & ARBs which gave a nice handling car which was much lower than the ridiculous stock height. I also put £200 per corner tyres on. Toyo R1Rs - one of the best mods I did.

As I recommended earlier mate, Statller in Sheffield will take care of everything for you. They are a SuperPro and H&R dealer - they also do a great geom set up. If you want to buy the kit yourself, then somewhere like Awesome or PSI Tuning will do online orders.

you had Toyo R1R on Leon Cupra? What about load index?
R1Rs in 225/40 R18 are only 88W (load index 88), but Cupra need minimum 91 load index. Did you have any proglem with that?

I wanted Yokohama AD08 in 225/40 R18, but same problem - load index only 88
