A question in this subject... I have looked at one of these from china. Will it show Seat if I plug it in in my Seat Leon FR 2007? Will it drain battery?

Will i show seat as logo?If not can I change it?

Logo seems to vary, some people have found its shown and others get VW. I'm not sure what makes it decide. Battery drain occurs on pre-07 Leons from what I've read, you'll need to find out what CAN gateway yours has as I believe that is the offending part.

Hey buddy I know I got this from the ancient times but just wanted to check that the unit you got fitted is still going strong? I only need the access to put a sub in and connect my ipod to the screen...

Cheers

Hey there, I actually went with an RNS 310 in the end so a bit different to the one pictured (that was from google). Works fine though and was easy to install.

Interested in one of those copied units if they are as good as other people say. Thier ebay adverts do also state they have Samsung parts in the unit, which can only be a good thing?

If anyone has one would they be able to stick a video up of theirs in use?

Also are these easy to fit? Like plug and play or is it a case of removing stuff to locate the gps sensor etc?

In terms of fitting they are easy enough. Follow the guide here http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=139255

GPS antenna can be stuck behind the air vents, that's where I put mine and it seems to work ok

Very easy to fit and yes mine has Samsung bits inside.
The video posted above seems to be the newer version, it looks quite nice and they've improved most of the menus.
After my experience I would certainly buy another one, bang for buck you can't beat them.
