Fitting cat back Milltek exhaust

I have just order a new cat back exhaust from Milltek and wondered if anyone knew if you need an exhaust pipe reducer to go from the original system to the new back box?

Also would it be advisable to have the engine remapped with the new exhaust?

Let me know how it sounds after fitting, is it loud enough? good sound?
Fitted exhaust along with side skirts and spoiler from SEAT. Car looks and sounds sweet. The exhaust isn't much louder than the standard one just a deeper exhaust note. Looks awsome though. Much better than the standard exhaust. Going to detail it and Supagard it tomorrow to help protect the paint. Next job will be to fit lowering springs and spacers.

Have you already got your lowering springs mate?

Do you get any pops from the milltek cat back exhaust that you have fitted..?
Or is it just a deeper noise

Plus 1 for how it sounds and pops. I really love the look of these and want one this year. If it sounds as good as it looks and pops when you want it to then id snap one up straight away. But i have heard that you need to let the engine and exhaust settle in a bit before you get the propper sound of it. If someone could clarify this. I really need to see and hear one in person.

You do yes, pops on gear change. My mrs has commented that from the roadside the engine is still louder than the exhaust. Which is part of the reason I've ordered the down pipe :)

Ok fantastic :)
I do love the sound of the exhaust poping, makes is sounds really sporty

It has been a couple months since I had the exhaust fitted and it is a truly awsome sound. Louder, deeper and the odd pop makes for a sweet sound!!!
