I've got some EBC discs on the front and cheapo Mintex pads. There's a few people on here that use the Godspeed discs and everyone seems happy with them.
Just be awear that if you buy from Godspeed, on check out you pay for Royal mail next day delivery. Both times I've ordered from them it's taken over a week for them to arrive. So leave you've self plenty of time when you order them!

Thanks for the info bud, ill make sure i order them a while before i get them fitted. Suprised about the ebc discs but its probably the pads that let you down

The EBC discs I have fitted where a temp measure as the discs that they replaced where so bad. I bought the EBC discs second hand from James.l to get me through until I could buy the 330mm discs. I'm sure all of the different discs are much of a muchness. It's the pads that make the biggest difference.

very nice motor mate shame about the bump hope all gets sorted and not to expensive

Thanks for looking. It won't cost much to fix but it'll mean that the new front discs will have to wait a bit longer before I get time to fit them, which is a shame.

I managed to get the bumper back on its guild last night and pull the wing out enough for the headlight to sit right. It started to snow then so I gave up.

I've had a headlight doneted and I've managed to have found replacements for all the broken parts. So in a week or two ill take the bumper off and sort it out.

My cars only been on light duties since I found out about the wishbone bushes. I'm in the need for giving it a good old drive. I can wait to get the mods finished I've got planned for the next two months.

I though I'd use all my car budget early and enjoy it through the summer! Hope I don't end up like Mercedes GP did last year!

They work but go like the clappers so I'll have to get some resistors for them.

Stereo fitted.

Bits of trim to replace the bit's that I broke in the car park.
The last part I need to fit the oil cooler and gaskets for my engine bay make over.

This spending must stop soon!

I need to decide what I want from my car. After I've gone stage 2 I'm saving for coilovers and probably fit rods next year. I may well then call it done and save for a weekend car.

Or go BT who knows?!?!

Get to a full on stage 2, do some track time and some mega drives, then decide if you're happy or really want more. Consider the outlay also = £10k+ for a mega BT setup done to a top standard.

Too many people in the past have thought they need 'x' bhp to have a good Leon and forget the overall package... Pub talkers and the like IMO..

I'm loving my car more than ever now all departments have been covered to make it an all rounder. I can lose my license easily if I'm not careful, and this is only stage 2. Just really think it through. It's a load of money to go BT, some are epic in the end (James L's, which is my favourite as no expense has been spared in all departments, as it should be when you're chasing 500bhp)

You may decide you want something else entirely that would take the power better like an Evo or similar in the end. Just my 2p's worth.

I will be keeping my Leon for years yet. I know stage 2 cars well maintained lasting well into high mileage and I'm around 65k on mine now so plenty of life yet, and the most important thing is it makes me happy as anything on a good drive.

With the power you can potentally get from Beachbuggy turbos new hybrid and a V2 Relentless would you need to go BT any way???

I'm sure for what I use the car for stage 2 will be enough for me. BT is always an option though.

As for an EVO it's not my style. I want a well balanced, tactile RWD car as a weekend toy with adequate power.

It's all a case of what do you 'need' really unless you've got £££ to throw at it without a care in the world, I'd stop when you're happy and really enjoying the driving.

Hybrid power sounds good enough and with the rods and uprated engine bits you have planned that will be cheaper than a full on BT setup.

:)

A few more bits today. I forgot to order the bonnet seal from early Leon's and a USB stick when ordering from Seremotors. So I had a look at the Seremotors eBay store and ordered them from there. Excellent service from Dave as always I'm glad he's back!
Also I ordered some new ball joints to fit along with the rest of the suspension parts.

The bonnet seal just pops into the existing holes in the bonnet.

Hopefully it'll mean a cleaner under bonnet!

I did the bonnet seal a while ago. Sorry to burst anyone's bubble but my bay still gets manky :( It does make a slightly less harsh metal-on-metal sound when the bonnet is dropped shut tho :)
