I drove Dan Underwood's R32 tonight and I love the seats! They heat up lovely. I will have to get the loom and switches sorted on mine too.

Yeah I know the feeling. Not properly put the diff through it's paces yet, but the weather's been so rubbish.

Better to be doing these big jobs now before the weather clears and you just want to enjoy it over the summer. That's what I'll be doing.

Been having a mock up of the new air filter location after relocating the battery to the boot. Need to try and make an extension for the MAF sensor. Not sure how simple this will be. Basically the air filter is too far forward for the standard lenth of cable. Either that or splice back the shrouding and see if that gives me more length.

Got my 0awg terminal onto the earth cable, going to go and collect my R32 interior tomorrow morning so won't get much done tomorrow but will try and get back on it sunday.

Need to get my new wheels sealed as well so they can go on the car and hopefully wheel it out for a wash and some snaps.

Can't you put the MAF further back near the fabricated pipe and have an ally/silicone joiner to the MAF direct from the base of the filter?

The filter has an alluminium velocity stack in it that the MAF is actually bolted to so unfortunatly not so simple

Was thinking about this, just don't like the idea of cutting into the loom too much.

get like for like gauge wire, and cut and solder & heatshrink it into extend it.
