Simon j worker just told me his turbo will hold 34psi at the redline, without wmi I cant see me running that kind of boost (wish I could, hint hint bill) but just shows how well these cheap turbos can work.

Still no reply :(
Just sent a message saying if it's not arrived by tomorrow I'm making a PayPal dispute.

Just out of interest is there a particular reason you would choose to do a Paypal dispute rather than an Ebay one? As I have always wondered if buying off Ebay using Paypal which is the best to dispute a purchase through as apparently they both offer to do it separate of each other?

Car looks good in the flesh, just saw it at bills. Needs a clean though lol!

Not wrong there mate. Not had a proper clean for months. Its been in bits on and off and couldnt be bothered to keep it clean while it was a project. Once the mapping is done, i will get it back up to standard and ready to hit the shows. Got some marks on the bonnet that need sorting, dam stone chips.

With the baby on the way my hobby will change slightly, focus on keeping it tidy instead of buying performance parts. I have put a deposit down on a set of lcr alloys. Going for a more oem look this summer. Black forge boost hoses on the way ect.

Looked good with the bbs on it, they're reps I take it? I've wanted to get my hands on lcr alloys for ages! You at bills tomorrow? Mines getting stage 1 treatment tomorrow (unless I get an email about an lcr) where you based I've never seen your car before and now I own one, like any car you see hundreds lol! I'm in a situation like that the misses wants to save for a house deposit but I want to hybrid mine lol!
One more thing, how do you get on with your front plate? In regards to police/mot, I want a smaller one for mine, I just like it. Have you got sizes I could have. Cheers, josh.

Yeah they are bbs reps, they suit the Leon very well and would have made a nice oem wheel for the lcr.
I'm going upto bills on Saturday all being well, i live in Bristol but go to bills quite a lot, just to visit mostly.
Your car will feel a totally different car when you get it back. Cars are never cheap, and the more you start modding the more it costs, example you start with the cheaper things and befor you know it you have a forged engine and a bigger turbo lol. Hybrids are good upgrades, bill is the master at tuning them. I can sort you out a high flow manifold should you want one.

I've always liked the look of your car, but never had a reason to comment, if the lcr had them standard then ch's would depreciate something chronic though as the genuine ones are like £1500? And now lcr alloys are about £300 in need of a refurb. I have heard bill is a guru at this stuff, and he reassures me he doesn't just turn up the boost lol, tala turbo, pipes and fmic! Mines a diesel, and at the moment it's a standard turbo, (runs out of puff at 200) but eventually ill go hybrid, £1600 from darkside for a hybrid turbo, 2.5" down pipe, tubular mani, fitment and stage 2 map.... Takes it to 230 ish then I'd need new injectors, and again mapping, so that's when I'd use bill I think, further stage 2. standard fmic can take 300 so I'd uprate the pipes that's it! But next big thing after the map tomorrow is is clutch.... If it slips but if not ill kill my clutch I think, then do it! I take it you can fabricate manifolds and stuff yourself? Watch this space I'd like to think I can rival a stage 1 lcr one day!! It's a shame I'm not about on Saturday, as I'd come say hello and have a gander, but I'm off to Germany skiing for a week free with work lol! Graft all the time :/

Been spending today :(

I have just bought all new forge silicone hoses for my engine bay in black as I'm going for a more oem+ look this year :)
Upper boost hoses
Charge pipe to tip
N75
Carbon canister
Brake servo
3mm ,6mm vacuum hose

And to put the icing on the cake, black billet washer cap

Just need to change the hoses on my v1 tip.

I'm in the process of buying all those forge hoses as well bit by bit. Shame about the cylinder head, what a nob.

Yeah it's not cheap keep changing hoses but this is the last time. I have all the proper hoses too unstead of using normal vacuum hose. I'm a tart

Yeah that guy on eBay is a knob, sent me 2 fake tracking numbers and he also sent PayPal a fake tracking number during the dispute. Time waster.

On the plus side I have a large port on the way. Mark from badger 5 is selling me his. Needs new guides but that's cool as I will replace everything anyway. I will get it skimmed and pressure tested.
Not going to be cheap but I will do it over a long time and in no rush so shouldnt suffer to bad ;)

Nope, bill has been to busy so has not had the chance to start my car yet. It will be worth the wait :D

yea, soz sam... assorted reasons including weather causing staff not able to come, jobs which turn into much bigger jobs (mapping turning into new rings + shells), and a general surge in work, all compounded to make me running behind big time unfortunately.

It should be worth the wait, but my diary has gone mad.. weekend bookings are out into march currently, and febs almost fully booked already..

we will get there tho.. lol

not like i can throw more days at it... i already work 7 days a week

Big update time, she is mapped.

Hello all, I'm pleased to say my car has now been mapped.
Firstly I would like to thank bill from badger 5, epic work from him.

As the car stands its running around 350bhp and 320ftlb, there is more power avilible but my fuel pump couldn't keep up (new one on order come payday)
The car made 357bhp and 330ftlb on that run. Again there could be more :)
Once the pump is sorted we can see what this turbo can do.

Few graphs during mapping

As the car stands, love how holds the power dead flat all the way to the limiter.

The mapping includes boost build launch and gear based mapping, running lower boost in low gears to improve traction.

Very happy and cannot wait to pick it up :)

Looks rapid. Good work on the figures. The graphs look smooth, what boost is it running? So you think a bit more is to come after new fuel pump?
