I have but it's a lot of work and I'd want it to look as neat as poss :think:

I did mine this afternoon, it's not that bad of a job, routing the cable is the hardest part as you need something quite beefy, i've got 50mm2 cable going down the side of the car. Creates loads more space up front for cool air! :D

I've always had a thought about how corner weighting will be affected by re-locating the battery from the front to the rear of the car? Not really noticeable around town I know but for anyone on track might be worth checking out.

Won't be moving mine.

Daz, the shield looks superb as said. Going by what other companies charge for theirs you could charge a fortune for yours as it's the best one going :D

I might have to look into this when the weather warms up, have you found any down side's to having it in the boot as apposed to in the front ?

If anything it will make the cornering weight better as the betters is over the front axle and in the boot it will be before the rear axle.

Just a thought

I did have to adjust coilovers after doing it as you could visibly see the angle of the car had changed
It probably weighs more in one battery then the whole front end, bumper crash bar, etc
Handling only ever got better

you want a spoon for the amount of arse eating your doing.

its made of wood, last time i checked wood sets alight, its like making a tea pot out of chocolate.

lovely car but i hope it doesnt go up in flames cos of a wooden heat shield.
