gear based boost will turn down the power to a tractable level... Note its Turn Down... Quattro's will use all of it... but carry their extra 4wd weight

4WD isn't really a viable option for this car. Would be far too much work to convert, new DP, gearbox etc etc.

Gear based boost will help a lot with traction although it's not that bad at the moment thanks to progressive boost you've put on it.

Didn't take long to have a bit more of a spend up...

Just ordered myself the bits to do a battery reloco in my car.

Got myself:

1. 5m 50mm3 cable
2. 1m 50mm3 cable
3. Distribution block
4. 1 50mm Positive Battery Terminal
5. 1 50mm Negative Battery Terminal
6. A New Bosch S5 Battery.

Planning on putting the battery just behind the N/S rear passenger seat bolted to the floor. I think Tim (Ronnin225) has got his here from memory...

Decided just to go with the S5 battery in the end, got a good deal I think at £69.95 delivered and with a 5 year guarantee you can't really argue with that.

If it all arrives this week I will have a bash at getting it installed.

I swore you had all handling mods on your car?

Either way, good buy mate. The Whiteline's get great reviews. Especially on the Jap forums. Loads of Scooby nuts used them.

Loved the difference the RARB makes. Tightens/sharpens the turn in at speed with reduced roll. I tested my Eibach hard after it went on ;)

Bit of bad news chaps...

Turn's out that the BBS CH-R's won't fit my car, basically the spokes on the inside of the wheel are too thick and will foul on the brake calipers and by adding a spacer will create far too much poke outside of the wheel arch. Got to say a big thanks to D.K for doing the research and I am a little bit dissapointed that they won't fit properly but I would rather something that fit's & suits the car properly than something that will make the car look peculiar.

I have been having a look for other wheels that I like and have come across these...

Looking at 18" / 9" Wide/ ET35. I think these should fit ok?

Anyone any good with Photoshop :D

James I don't want to add more bad news but the rota force won't fit. There was a member on here who purchased them for his LC and had to sell them straight away as the spacers he needed to make them fit would make them poke out way too much. I will try find the thread on it. He is the guy who now has RSmith's 19" BBS CH alloys

Edit: Found the thread for you mate New wheels purchased, preview pics!

Would have been nice, I think I am destined to stick with OEM alloys.

Going to spunk the cash on some cams instead!

Yer they do look quite nice, will investigate prices and fitment.

Edit - According to rimsyle they don't fit

There was a red LCR for sale on pistonheads a while ago and it had them fitted. The stance was spot on.

He didn't have Forge brakes though just the standard LCR rims.

Probably best to ring the manufacturers direct to be sure.
