I've had a few different splitters

The one in the picture at the bottom everytime you post. It looks like you've cut the middle out and painted the sides but I believe the middle is carbon wrapped is that right?

That one is a standard LCR splitter but your right I carbon wrapped the center and then had the sides colour coded to the rest of the car.
The resin has started to crack on the edges but when I re do it I'll be doing it a different way.

Thought I'd take advantage of the good weather and cracked out the DA.

Before, Just washed with Auto Finnesse Lather Shampoo and dried.

After
DA'd using Auto Glym SRP

Started to loose the light once I was finished

Just need to put some gloss on the tyres tomorrow and a coat of wax or sealant if I get time.

It's not hard really, it's more a confidence thing the first time you put the pad onto the car

Dead easy to use a DA not alot can go wrong when using one its the rotary polishers that are hard to use , I love using my DA use it all the time the results you get are 100 times better than doing it by hand

I taught myself using the Meguiars classes on Youtube. As Dan said, a really simple process, and with good products, you can achieve amazing results.

I picked up the adhesive for the heat shied and started sticking it together.

Next week I'll test fit it then cut a base for it and see how much Carbon I've got
