Got my car aligned and all sorted now and for £15 :D

Personally i think the issue with my car after the kerb hit was the suspension top mount and not the wheel bearing housing and bearig but oh well

Glad u got it sorted khal . Your car looks so much better lowered now , whats the ride like on coilys ?

On another note i got my car back today and im well pleased with work thats been done . Its had new headlights " which i have to replace bulbs as they are standard bulbs atm :( " . New bumper new linea grills even the lower one which wasnt even the linea one but now matches the rest of the grills and a new bonnet with no stone chips what so ever :)" i may get it clear wrapped to protect the paint . The paint job is spot on " i was worrying about this" but i cannot fault the job . Its better now than how it was before :)

Happy days !!

fitted my gloss black mirror covers. Now they match my wheels

Just to point out that removing the mirror caps can be very hard indeed if you use fingernails or credit cards and you can damage the edge of them. I found that if I adjusted the mirror glass in as far as it would go I could get a screwdriver down behind the glass and release one of the little plastic tangs that hold the cover on. Once one is released the cover almost falls off.

I did it the proper way last time I did it and it was dead easy and I didn't break anything :)
Tilt mirror down, pop it out, pop out the clips. Sorted.
Mind, popping out the mirror was a bit unnerving.

Nice one mate il have to keep a eye on these interior mods u have in mind it sounds interesting . My insurance is groupama , i carnt fault them really . I got a decent courtesy car and they use good repair shops . Glad i got my car bk now though as much as the bmw was nice to have for abit :)

Just been out in the car and it sounded like i had a flat tyre sort of noise but my tyres were fine . Ive got a feeling a rear bearing has gone as its there all the time now :(. Il get it checked out tomorrow

Found out the girlfiend has bought me some BBS CH now. Looking forward to see what they will look like, although i'm not sure whether I should paint them gloss black or go for a slightly less common gunmetal grey?

Get them done gun metal grey mate! Definitely, gloss black wheels just dissappear from a distance and look pants. Ive got 19" lambo and they're gun metakl grey on my silver car and they looks great :)

Yeah i'm thinking the same tbh! If I don't like them I can always get them done again anyway :)

Wish my girlfriend would buy me stuff for my car :(

You need a new girlfriend ;)

@rob congratulations, mate, that's a beautiful looking car. And wow, those head lights resemble the Dectane ones for the Leon, don't they? HAHA! Taking into account the difference in quality, cutoff, and HIDs themselves. lol

Congrats man! Loving the Benz

Nice car rob . Does this mean u will be selling your leon ?

No mate, the Merc is a company car and its replacing the A3 S-Line 2.0TDi Quattro (170bhp).... the Merc is also 170bhp so happy with that!

The headlights are great...adaptive ones which turn and also when you indicate there is a mini headlight which turns on and shines out to the side to light up the road where you're turning to....its great!

Put some 6000k HIDs in today, easily the best mod so far. They look great and the visability is a million times better.
