I've had some overdue work done.

Cambelt kit
Water pump
Auxiliary belt
Wheel bearing
Abs sensor

All replaced today. Now I've gotta do the loom :(

Drive at 70mph and achieved 38.9mpg which I didn't think was too bad!

Put IC vent into inner wheel liner and tried the short shift mod(a bit more work needed on that only half the gears). Will have to check my measurements LOL

Sorted another one (and hopefully the last) of the water leaks on the car, this time this one was caused by someone else's incompetence....

Pollen filter cover - now we all know how important it is to have the skirt seated correctly to keep the water diverted. But what happens when someone has bodged your skirt so no matter how hard you try, it'll never seal correctly? :wtf:

Moral of the story? Regardless of who works on your car, always check their work. Sloppy pish like this is the reason I stopped taking the car to SEAT for some annual monkey-induced damage (ruined a turbo by not bolting on the support, stripped the threads out of the hotside).

Big thanks to 8bit for the spare, intact cover, cheers min! :D

Spent nearly ten hours detailing it ... it now looks like a brand new car :)

Wheel spacers on the way ... 20mm magnesium forged hubcentric with bolts :)

Changed my thermostat had to finish it off in the dark with just my i phone torch for light. All seems ok though touch wood. Temp gauge is now sitting at 90 heaters are blowing out lovely and hot checked the bottom hose that was cold for a while then got hot so thermostat must have opened ok. And fan is kicking in . Also put a new dipstick tube in as the old one had a big split in it. Changed my cone filter as the one that was on it was filthy. Only thing I've noticed though is the mpg seem really bad since changing thermostat. Do you think it may take a while for the ecu to reset itself or something.

How do you do this to your badge? as i want to do both of mine black.

Also DeBadged It Today Aswell...

IMG_0755.jpg

The front pops out then splits apart, I masked off most of it when i sprayed the red then i wrapped the S then just glue it all back together again, i had it black before the carbon. I havent done the rear but i know that it comes out after you remove the boot trim, 3 screws hold it in. It splits as well. otherwise just mask off each bit and spray it :)
