If that's a stage 2 not plus then you are going to say goodbye to your engine very very soon or the place you got your dyno done is about as acurate as Robin Hood using a tennis racquet instead of a bow !

Hows the engine gona go? Everything was boosting and fuelling fine. And the rollers where running other cars which where putting out the right kinda powers. It wasnt a jabbasport roller that a ran it on

I've just had my stage 2 cupra dyno'd with jabbsport software and it ran a 371.2bhp with 345lbs/ft of torque judt to compare to the APR and the Revo

What mods do you have? And what rollers did you use. With revo stage 2+ on dastek rollers I made 379. And if honest I know it's bs. 360-365 is your max without water meth etc. can't see java stage 2 making past a genuine 340

An old thread resurrection this, the car isn't this spec anymore, runs REVO code now.

This equally old thread probably covers the last significant update from November 2010.

http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=291938

Note: Thread was written before APR re-entered the market..again!!

Graph from the Nov 2010 Awesome RR day is below, Spec is pretty much unchanged from that period.

Stage 2+ mods : REVO Stg2+ code (Setup at the time : Boost 9 Timing 6 Fuel 9)

Now setup - Boost 9 Timing 6 Fuel 6

Modifications: APR HPFP, APR Intercooler, APR 3" Downpipe and HiFlow CAT mated upto Milltek CAT back resonated. Forge Twintake and THS Engine mounts and Helix Clutch and Single Mass Flywheel Kit.

main.php

I've got several other graphs over the period of its life since i got the car in 2007.

Last one on record is from Nov 2011 - see below.

Same spec as above settings - Boost 9 Timing 6 Fuel 6

main.php

It's always been really consistent with the power regardless of who's dyno its gone on, but the torque can vary but that's generally to how its calculated by the dyno.

I've always found that if mine has lower torque figures it shows higher power figures, if the power is down the torque is very high. Awesome's torque figures were always a bit on the high side regardless.

But the power has always been fairly repeatable where ever it goes, even on Dyno Dynamics.

Going well ZBOYD, my cupra has 58k on it, tried a stage 2 map a month ago and clutch started slipping so had to go back to stage 1 until I have the funds for uprated clutch

Davey get the new clutch in her. Mine was slipping and bought the sachs kit, but when the mechanic opened it up the flywheel was knackered. Full southbend stage1 with single mass fly wheel and soon to have the new APR software :)

Good job mate I'd say. I will probably get a new OEM dual mass flywheel and use a SACHS clutch kit just.

Who are you getting the APR from mate? Didn't think we had an APR dealer in NI?

single mass fly wheel all the way so much better on the free reving.

I have been keeping up with Evan from APR about NI dealers, not sure if I can give away when and where, but there should be news of a new apr dealer in NI within the next few weeks

Not much at all, it's not quite cracked 15k yet. :p

To be fair I've not been in the best of sorts this past year. So not been driving as much as I'd of liked to, which is even less than it usually got.

Still runs a treat though when I take it out. Needs its cam belt doing though really, should of been done last year based on a 4 year service schedule.

Based on figures on other cars, the difference should be pretty impressive. Most of the cars with a similar level of tune and REVO code do 360hp+

Pump is a very worth while addition, mine gained around 35-40hp across the mid-range when the pump was installed. Bear in mind though you need the correct map to take advantage of the pump.

Its not slipping under daily driving conditions, but generally its struggling like mad to reign in more than 360ftlbs of torque right across the midrange. The other factor is not keeping the clutch in contact with the flywheel, at high RPM's it can occasionally spin up or jump up revs suddenly when flooring it hard.

Not uncommon for the OEM clutch to fail on the Cupra, same thing happens to Ed30 Golfs too. Just big torque and power it wasn't designed for, hence time for something more suitable. :)

Stg1 cars would probably not be as susceptible as a Stg2+, but even I've heard of failures on stock cars.

I am looking to upgrade my clutch as I need it now and I have the leon cupra mk2 .big turbo setup.

Clutch masters suggest that thinwill fit my car Part# 17375-hdc4-shp price$ 1,395.00.

But this is for 2010 2011 gti..can u suggest me a site in UK that sells clutch..Sachs or clutch .masters.

The clutch for a mk5 golf gti will fit a leon, they use the same gearbox ;)

I don't think so..we use different turbo and we have more power..u sure that we use the same clutch
 but thank u for being helpful.
