Epic update mate. Great list of parts. Will certainly transform the car :D

When is this all going to be fitted? Hopefully soon. I want to see the results. Especially from the manifold and what it does for your car power wise..

As soon as the stuff from INA arrives mate, kind of toying with the idea of WMI and then a custom remap

Where the hell is everyone getting aero wipers from I never seem to find em,

Should have dropped u a pm mate was up your neck the woods at weekend

Just happened to spot them on Phil's car when I was looking at pics and trying to figure out what I wanted off his motor.

You should have done mate, what were you up for?

The car will be off to a garage to get the internals done, I just hope I don't lose interest again before the other stuff goes on, oil cooler ect. I've also still got a set of polybushed wishbones to get on.

Sould be rather decent once it's been ran in :D

In your rod kit I think I ordered everything bar the exhaust valves. Didn't really need them as the car will never be revved enough to warrant them.

Great list of parts. I was going to do the oil cooler mod too but this will be spring time now as a) car will defo not be tracked until the rods are done and b) too wet and cold anyway.

Your car is defo a bit of a sleeper. Exactly what I wanted of mine. I was in a position to throw lots of cash at mine but a few forum members made me realise maybe it should be curbed at some point.

Awesome progress tho dude.

You going to have some car when all that's fitted! You'll fall in love all over again, renew you vows and live happily ever after... Or just smash it's back doors in on track.
I wish my car looked half a good as yours.

to be honest where I am with the car it was going to be all or nothing. So I decided to throw some cash at it. It'll not be complete until it's got a diff and uprated clutch though.

fingers crossed mate, it's in a bit of a state at the minute, really needs a good clean up, I took it down to Croft last weekend for the rally cross and it got hacky inside and out.

Rich you defo need to do some track time with TED next year once this is done ;)

It'll definately be out on track next year, otherwise what's the point ;)

Nothing speaks peace of mind like the word 'RODS'

It's got to be on your list t0m.

I know mate. It's just who to eventually order from... I'm not waiting months and months for them.

Wonder how soon the THS one's would be out to me from point of ordering.. I want the rifle drilled ones.

I think the 'standard' rifle drilled rods are $499 and the tuscan rods (rifle drilled standard) are $599

$100 extra (£65) for the BEST

When you put it like that.....

You're as bad as DK talking me into things! Still, I won't be ordering for a little while yet.

Looking forward to Rich's update in here once that lot goes on as his car isn't far off mine power wise at all. Keen to see what it'll make with this manifold on.

It says on the site the standard ones are £399. For most of us the standard ones will be fine strength wise but I'm interested by the weight savings. Do you think they be worth the extra money?

Rifle drilled are better mate, helps to reduce wear on these cars.

The Tuscan one's are £65 more but without seeing them both in person it's hard to say. They do look the daddy though!

Rifle drilled is a small hole from the big end bearing to the wrist pin which (when the oil is pressurised) pushes oil through to the small end. OEM Rods have this, and in my opinion should be on everyone's list who is buying Rods
