Looks like we all on the same thinking. Track day sounds good to me. Planning on doing more next year and wouldn't mind making a road trip for something like this. Lets make it happen gents :)

I do love the HPS although they're a nightmare to keep clean.
Nothing wrong with dark wheels on a silver LCR mate, get yours lowered and spaced and it'll look great.

On another note, my motors developed a fuel leak :( so it's in getting checked over.

Definitely not for me then. I'm struggling to keep my OEM finish wheels clean.

That sucks about the fuel leak. Where is the leak? Front, back? Hopefully nothing major and it gets sorted asap

I was thinking maybe lowering it will make it look better but dont think im going to do any more mods till next year now :(

Bad news about the fuel leak, hope its a simple cheap fix

Just in front of the drivers side rear wheel, spotted a small pool this morning when I went to shut the drive gates on the way to work so didn't have time to get under the car. After work didn't see the point so took it straight to the garage. It's not leaking much but it'll only get worse if not fixed.

:(

Hope the leak isn't too much of a problem mate and is sorted soon. Let us know what it is once diagnosed.

Will do mate. It's typical something like this happens when I've order a few new bits and pieces for it. I'll probably end up with no money to get everything fitted :doh:

Not too long to wait until next year ;)

Check the fuel filter. That's by the drivers rear wheel. Mine leaked last year and did the same, it actually leaked from the casing of the filter

It’s been a while since this has had a decent update so thought I’d let you know what I’m up to. I’ve got the following bits sitting in the house:

Bought from Phill
THS engine mounts:

Oil cooler bits:

Aero wipers:
P1050324.jpg

Massive air filter and heat shield (bought out of curiosity):

And by massive, here it is next to the old k&n:

Picked up a battery box for the boot from Tim:

Ordered from Sam
Relentless V3 manifold:
P1050322.jpg

Ordered from Dave at Sere
OEM oil pump and water pump:
P1050332.jpg

I’ve also got the following on order from INA:
*144/20 rifle drilled Rods
* headgasket
* headbolts
* pan sealant
* oe connecting rod bearings
* 13x copper exhaust nuts
* 2x Mann oil filters
* 1x gates performance timing belt
* INA Manual Tensioner Kit
* Ferrea race exhaust valves x 8 OE Size
* OE Piston Rings 1.8t 20v
* Cylinder head rebuild kit

And some beam axle to chassis poly bushes on order from e-parts

After ordering everything I kind of thought I should have done the clutch and LSD first but it was too late then so they’ll have to wait till all of this is fitted and I see how much cash I’ve got left.

I’m kind of hoping all of this will help re-ignite the love that seems to be slipping at the moment.

Cheers for reading :)

Epic update mate. Great list of parts. Will certainly transform the car :D

When is this all going to be fitted? Hopefully soon. I want to see the results. Especially from the manifold and what it does for your car power wise..
