Fitted my wind deflectors to the fronts. Fed up of rain funnelling in when I want my window open a bit!

Bought a bucket and harness for an upcoming track session!

Made a complete and utter mess of trying to change my thermostat. In my eagerness to get down to it i completely forgot to drain the coolant. so when i took the hose off i got a really nice way of the car reminding me, then got the top bolt off but spent the next 1hr trying to undo the other one with every tool i have in the garage. Even cut one of my allen keys in half to try and get in there. That allen key is now lost inside my engine bay somewhere. Afetr deciding to give up i tried putting the bolt back in only to lose that down the bay for the next 30 min. After that it was plain sailing putting it back together but the only thing i achieved was a coolant change after 3 hours. What a mess.

Just fitted my forge boost pipe, turbo outlet pipe and BMC twin cone air filter and heat shield from Badger5 to my LCR, sounds awesome, turbo definitely kicking in quicker with the new boost pipe

Today while looking for the split hose under my inlet manifold I started moving hoses around to hear a hissing.great I thought!! Nope!! The engine was running to have the system pressurised and some how I touched the belts on the left hand side of the engine and chopped the end of one of my fingers off. Oops.so now the cars covered in blood and I spent the rest of the afternoon in a&e.

After reading about blocked oil pickups killing 1.8Ts (affects ALL 1.8Ts) I ordered a replacement today from the local Skoda guys, oil pickup 06A115251 and seal N0282222, all for just over £14. At that price it seems stupid not to change the pickup as a matter of course...
