That was a fear of mine... I can turn it round and make the downpipe a bit of a ball ache, or, run a sidewinder style manifold like Graham. I am seeing how it fits on sunday with the bulkhead.

Well... Today was judgement day whether I had bitten off more than I could chew turbo wise. Bill (as was I) was very sceptical about it fitting. Unfortunatly, at the current turbo flange angle of ther TSR Manifold made it impossible to fit :( But it was SO close. I wasn't giving up. So I took the grinder out.

Only joking.
It was close but no cigar. So unclamped the turbo from the manifold and dropped the motor in. Then faffed about getting the turbo in(Lets hope I dont have to change this!!)

HAHA!! Result We are in and cleared! So knocked up 2 brackets to hold the turbo on, so I could get an Idea of what I was needing to do to get it to fit.

Looking good mate
Will you be adding any sort addition heat insulation either side of the bulkhead?
With the mapping, i assume it will be quite aggresive but will you have flat shifting mapped in or will you/ can you run an anti lag system?

Engine control is still in the air. I'm in talks with a few companies regarding sponsorship omex being one of them. I would like anti-lag and flat shift to be a feature.

Haven't done anything these last few weekends, been packed out with private work/new gf. Picking up a new daily driver aswell so that's used up a bit of my funding. Just as I need some fun back in my life lol

Well, Literally nothing has happened on this recently, been far too busy on over vehicles other than my own. Still need to get a cage, and sort a manifold really before I can progress any more. Budget of £400ish for a cage is pressing ;)

Results were:
Std 224bhp/fly
P-torque 278.0/fly

Std 175bhp/wheels
P-Torque 242/wheels

Std 219lb/ft
P-torque 302lb/ft

So you never thought of how it can be that you have HIGHER drivetrain/friction losses with OEM ECU than with tuned ECU?

STD 224hp/fly vs 175hp/wheels = 49hp drivetrain losses
MOD 278hp/fly vs 242hp/wheels = 36hp drivetrain losses
